Issue with TDM

There appears to be an issue with TDM (I am using the latest version that was part of the v1.46 install)
I recently used it to update my data from v1.45a to v1.46 and I have noticed that some station prices are wildly inaccurate.
For example : -
Caleta/Watson Station - I only scanned this a few days ago so know that the prices were correct but it is now showing the sell price of Indite at 36179 & Gallium at 14310. Curiously these match the prices for Painite 36179 & Palladium 14310.
It has not happened at all the stations but I cannot find a common denominator. There are no error messages given so I cannot point to any particular section of the code.
I would surmise however that somewhere in the conversion routine the values for specific commodities are being overwritten with the wrong value.

First Evanture, Thank You! I love this program, I've used it when i first played Elite.
Now i reinstalled my computer (Win10) the game and everything. And the scan doesn't work. I've looked through a lot of pages of this forum and couldn't find a match to my problem.
I copied all the Eliteocr files to the TCE EliteOCR folder. But when i hit the start scan in game, nothing happens. NO missread or something, i've got nothing as a result. Can you help me with a suggestion what could be the problem?

Please check the path setting of your TCE.ini. Perhaps create a new. Also activate the OCR Debug window to check, what happen on scan.

I wonder if you can help me. i have Office 2007 sp3 installed, i have installed the files in the pre requisites and no more updates show up in windows 10.
When trying to run the ocr im receiving the following errors:
Run-time error 5 Invalid procedure call or argument
When debugging: Cant execute code in break mode (highlighted text is .TextFilePlatform = -535)
I am running the game at 3440x1440 with a dell ultrawide monitor if that makes a difference.

Hello too,
it is your Office, that makes the problem. Please check some post above (here, my reply below and the answer three posts below that).
Did you install the runtime only for your version of Office? If everything doesnt work, reinstall Office first, then update it to the latest patch and try again. If afterwards the error appears again, install the runtime for your Office version, listed in the Prerequisites.

I think I have found a little bug! I have flown to the star system Pandemonium - brilliant name btw! TCM displays "Pandemonium : Near Primary Star Unknown Star System" yet there are 4 stations in this system and if I look into the TCM database all 4 stations are recorded.
Finally I spotted it! In TCM you have this system recorded as Pandamonium whereas the correct spelling should be Pandemonium with an "e" not an "a".
Hopefully you can fix this for the next release of TCM or is there a way I can correct this error? I tried to correct the error using the Star System database but I could not bring up Pandamonium to modify it.

Thanks for reporting, next release will have the correction.
Have found a bug also in modifing a star system, so the only way to change the name is through manual edit of the TCE.mdb file. If you have added the four stations, you can delete the unregistered stations out of the Station_UR table.

However, I seem to have found a slight bug.
While the Travel Logbook orders the entries correctly (latest at the bottom with a UK style date DD/MM/YYYY), the activities panel has a different date layout (Americanized MM/DD/YYYY rather than UK) and sequences everything by Time, ignoring the date of the entries therefore shuffling everything.

Found the problem and it got fixed next update. I enlarged also the date column to show the full date.
Please dont remove the "Classic UI" - I love it and its more ELITE-retro-futuristic-style than Icon-based-UI. IMHO!
I agree, I only use Classic UI and don't want a load of icons floating around the screen.

Thought I'd see what the 'Compact UI' looked like to see if it was worth joining the march to keep the 'Classic UI' as I didn't even realise there were two options.
If you don't have Elite running (I've not got my Hotas and everything hooked up atm and just wanted to look something up in TCE so I don't know if it happens with Elite running or not) and you have the TCE in 'Compact UI' and try to use the 'Panels' window then TCE crashes. 'Classic UI' seems fine and works properly so no clue why that happens.

Yes i have Office 365 32bit with the 32bit access runtime listed in pre reqs. I have tried reinstalling office, using office 2007, re installing windows, waiting 2 days to make sure i haven't missed any updates ect ect still getting the run time error 5 each time. No updates are available through win10 windows update or direct from office.

I'm not about to read through 3400+ posts so I have to ask, sorry. Will there be a version for OpenOffice? I feel like there'd be significantly larger user base if you used free software. If people don't use open office they use google docs, and if they need something specific or got excel through some package they'll have excel. I think it's really rare for people to actually go out and buy excel or office without a specific need, especially the average gamer. I'd use the crap out of this if it worked on open office...
