Ya exactly, when I do trade runs I usually lock the stations I run between and when they are in different systems it would be perfect.Do you mean so you can then paste it into the galaxy map? If I understand correctly... then yeah I would probably make use of this too.
Cool, thanks! Will try to add it.
Get the same error
This may have been answered in a previous post, but couldn't find it. I'm getting the following error every time I try to run OCR:
[=== ]Error opening data file ./tessdata/big.traineddata
Please make sure the TESSDATA_PREFIX environment variable is set to the parent d
irectory of your "tessdata" directory.
Failed loading language 'big'
Tesseract couldn't load any languages!
Is this the correct place for it? I have set up the correct paths in the intial set up.
When I try to fill anything in on the "add star system" I can't get a save button
Anyway I would like to ask what should I key in the system body box? Is it the planet where the starport is located? For example, if the starport is located at the 1st planet nearest to the star, I should key '1'?
And is it possible to delete the station data from the database? I had unknowingly added a couple of entries of the same starport but I am unable to delete the duplicate entries.
Or is the station data vital for the commodity data?
Eventure, this is great. I have it working now since your last update. I would very much like to donate to you for this hard work. Please set up a donation page![]()
It is, because each commodity gets an ID of the station, to which it belongs. So without station data, you cant add commodity prices.
Thanks for reporting. Will be fixed next update.
When arriving at an unrecorded star system, you have to add it to your database via Database > Stars. The star system name wll be automatically added into the appropriate field. Your task is now to enter the distances to the four reference star systems (Sol, Wyrd, Vega and Loga), that are displayed. Feel free to change these, if you like. Open the galaxy map of ED and select Navigation and type the first system (Sol) into the search box. The galaxy map jumps to the star system and displays the distance next to it. Type this value into the distance field next to the selected star sýstem of the Star System panel of TCE and press enter. Repeat this until all distance fields have their corresponding values. Now you will see a SAVE button next to the HIDE button. Click it and the new star system is stored into your database.
Is it possible to completely hide/show the TCE UI using a hotkey?
I currently use Control->Hide to minimise it when not docked but every once in a while my mouse ends up over the Control button in combat and if I am shooting at the same time it can steal focus. It isn't usually a problem but I had a rather scary moment during a fight last night where it happened just as I was trying to avoid a barrage from 2 ships and... didn't.
My guess it that it isn't possible if TCE/Excel doesn't have focus but I thought I would ask. I can manually exit/reload if that is the only way.
I tried this and got as far as having entered all the data, I then got a save box but on clicking the whole lot failed again with a different runtime error.
Seems I can load it up and it looks great overlaid but as soon as I try to do ANYTHING with it it will fail with a runtime error of one kind or another.
You first report was good, i fixed the problem. Please give me an equal for the second error. Or reinstall TCE in case of database error and try it again.
What's the best way to totally un-install so I can get a fresh start?
The Station data is part of the filename and data covered in the file as EliteOCR provides it: Starsystem-stationname-aquired-time-and-date. So extracting the basic data out of the filename and given data should be no problem. Adding of the other data TCE is asking for (e.g. marketplace, blackmarket, jurisdiction, type of station, etc.) could be entered, when the system is visited later on.
