Its not new, the goods are not tradeable between stations in the common way (Black Box, Ancient Artifacts, etc.).

Just a couple of queries - now using TCE v1.37 beta 2 with ED v1.2.
I've just tried to add Painite as a new commodity but after completing the details in the 'Wares' dialog when trying to save TCE crashes with the message "Method 'value' of object 'range' failed". After clicking OK on the dialog Excel exits without giving the option to debug.
What is the new 'hotkey' for hiding TCE completely? After hiding it from the control menu I can't get TCE back without restarting it. I've looked in the instructions but can see no sign of what the key is.

Same here also when looking at the list of Commodities I noticed Platinum is listed four times.
Plus when I OCR Scanned the Minerals area, after adding Painite, Bauxite was given the sell value of the new Commodity and PAINITE wasn't listed (That was before I realised PAINITE wasn't being added) and then upon saving I got the error below in the Debug
Adding PAINITE appears to work and doesn't cause an error, but when you review the commodities list its not there.

Thanks for the feedback. There is a bug in the add commodity routine. Please return to a backup before you added the commodity. I will release an update today, that will handle this problem.
Its not frequently, but it happens. I will change the font size, if a certain width was exceeded.

EliteOCR Problems
Installed latest versions as per Yokai's guide. Everything works perfectly except I cannot get EliteOCR to populate station commodity list.
It's a new system to my database. Only two stations. All updates re star and stations are completed.
Got my screen resolution all correct. Position my in-game commodities as instructed, hit the OCR button, it saves (according to the message on screen), but nothing gets populated / updated.
Tried this at both stations in the system (Alacagui) with the same result.
I can manually enter commodity data but I don't wanna
If I've done something stupid then please advise.

What is you FOV (Field of View) set to in the game? If you've modified it to be greater than the game allows then the OCR reader will fail.
When you click the OCR button how long does it take to complete?
What exactly do you mean when you say "hit the OCR button, it saves"? It doesn't save automatically, there is a "SAVE" button in the top right of the Commodities view that you need to click once you've OCR'ed all the commodity pages, next to the "HIDE" button.

Please activate the debug window for OCR at the Options panel. Afterwards you can see, whats wrong with your scans.
No, not now, it will come with the Ship Logbook at a later time. But now please check the Trade Advisor at the Trade panel. There are many commodities, you can trade with. Check out the prices for the goods and take them, which you can afford with your money. Later on you will have enough money to trade any good you came across.
Update (V1.37 beta3) released:
- Bugfix Hotkey to set a new key, press the button again, to cancel your selection
- Bugfix in Wares Database panel (now you can add new commodities without damaging your database)
- Font adjustments for Position and Destination display
- Padsize selection for Auto-Destination (select your Padsize at the Trade Scout panel, exit the panel, open the Options panel, deactivate Auto-Destination and reactivate it again, now padsize limits take effect)
- Removed Exploration and Note box from Star System Database panel, now only accessable throught the Cartography panel.

The only options I see on the Trade Scout Panel are 1)Search Range; 2) Station Distance; 3) Star Distance; 4) Profit/Unit; 5) Profit/Route; 6) Stock as well as Jurisdiction and padsize filters. I don't see any provision to adjust what capital you have at your disposal. Am I missing something?
No it's not specifically set up like that so you can use "5) Profit/Route" lower it to something you can afford, I think.

In the Commodities list I get the error as shown below when I move through to the Metals category. I have tried viewing the category when OCR'ing and when not OCR'ing same problem occurs.
NOTE: I didn't try to view Metals Category until I had added PAINITE via the Wares database and it has successfully been added.
I've restarted and tried different combinations and I always get this error under these conditions.

Please open the TCE.mdb and check the "Goods" table. Are there more than 81 entries? How it looks from entry 80 on?
I had something odd happen last night while using The Extension. The system I entered had eight stations in it. I landed at the first one and went to "add Unregistered station" listing . The drop down had six names of stations in it but only one was correct/matched stations that were in the system. Five other station names were incorrect.
I've never seen that before. Did an update in ED. change the station names? Anyone else seen incorrect station names in the drop down list?
