Removing cmdrs from Conflict Zone in HeHe

Flattening Cobras and Vipers is obvious enough, what really got me was the FdL that tried to go head-to-head with his shields down. A sensible pilot wouldn't even do that against NPCs, let alone a fully engineered murderboat.

Any competent FdL / FAS with a build that includes Tlb/Df Plasma will force you to high-wake eventually. Even deploying fighters will only delay the inevitable.

Good FDL pilot? yeah most probably I will be outmatched by his maneuverability, FASs however require less firepower because of poor shields and max of 5000 integrity points, just recently I beat Maztek's FAS with TLBs and double chaff. He is good pilot flies with full FAO.

Actually, a humble Cobra with Reverberating Cascade Mines is enough.

Didn't have the chance to fight a cobra with rev cascades yet, not sure how it will go, but I might be beat. This game doesn't have an ultimate OP, there is always a counter for everything.

I'm surprised it doesn't turn the whole CZ hostile like if you attack an NPC without picking a side.

It's a loophole within the CZ NPC engagement mechanics. If you shoot any NPC then all the other NPCs on that side immediately turn hostile, but you can shoot as many CMDRs as you like from either or both sides and all the NPCs will ignore you. For that reason, remaining neutral in the CZs just so you can shoot CMDRs would be considered a pretty cheesy and cowardly tactic by most people.

I killed TLB FASs with this loadout, your vulture might tickle my shields (6000mj prismatic), keep dreaming though.

You have 6k shield on an Anaconda with 3 heat sinks?

They should really treat commanders the same as NPCs if they've pledged to a side, that doesn't really make sense the way it is now.

(This is assuming you use KB & mouse, OP... I can't tell)

You should look into macro-assigning your pips, OP. I use macro keys on the left side of my KB, but the F1-F4 keys would do well, also. Makes pushing power to the modules you want a lot faster, and allows you to keep your engines and weapons adequately charged while you focus pips on shields. Just setting a few up in a 0-2-4 configuration really helps you to focus on maneuver, instead of "um... up... left.. sh... right... up... up.."

You dont have to pick a side in CZ, dont make the rules please.

No one is saying you have to, or trying to impose rules on you. They're just saying that, in their opinion, not picking a side is cheap and it makes your video less impressive.

As Rap Critic says at the end of his YouTube videos, "you don't have to like my opinion, but I don't have to like your song."

Maybe do this instead of block on sight?

Regarding naming and shaming, my cmdr name is known and I accept all friend requests if anyone feels like white knighting.

Never heard of you and now never will hear of you again. Your video and posts.... distasteful.

It's possible with four or five HD boosters...not usually the best setup, but possible.

Agreed.

Don't need macros to have good pip management. Just allocate a hat switch.

Are you at this week's CG? Maybe we can arrange something. :) But it would be a DBS, not a Cobra.

Yup.
Pick a side.

Otherwise you are the lowest form of filth. (IMHO)

I encountered this a bit during the Leesti Civil War.
There were groups who did not want Leesti to be flipped from that Dictatorship to an Alliance democracy.
Fair enough, that's what the CZs are FOR.
But our opponents wouldn't take a side.

Still had to fight them, but it meant nothing. I saw plenty of rebuy screens.
