MOVING PAST THE WOODEN COASTERS...WALKING DOWN THE PATH FROM THE COASTER EXITS...you pass by the queue area for the road rally car ride (more on this later).
Here is a better view of the faux viewing area for the coaster...where guests can stop and get great photos of friends as they whip around the helix.
Where a walkway bridge crosses over the train track and heads towards the upper oasis.
As you get to the high oasis, there is a shop and restrooms to the left. Straight ahead you can cross a bridge back over the river to the Sub-Continent of India (still being built, so this will be in future updates).
Here is that bridge I mentioned above.
To the right is the main high oasis pathway that leads to shops, a flat ride, and ultimately to the path that goes around the back of the park (under the wooden coasters).
At the end of the upper walkway is a plaza that leads to a flat ride..."The Temple of Karnak". Basically its the Tilt-a-Whirl. This whole area was built to basically just fill up this back dead corner of the park with something. I have some lures, but its really hard to get guest up into this corner.
So, we have looked at the train track layout through the front part of Egypt, so now lets look at the train going around the back corner of the park. Here the train enters a series of desert caves and canyons as it makes a slow climb to a higher elevation.
