Repeat the same Guardian unlock 18 times? Really?

Mine is Latitude 38.5843 / 38° 35' 3" N, Longitude: -90.3513. / 90° 21' 4" W. And Grid: EM48to. :)

For the center of my Maidenhead grid, of course.

Here's a link that might help:

no one from FD has popped in to acknowledge it. Not talking about an agreement, or any detailed breakdown, but a simple acknowledgement of the growing feedback

Well there's at least 30 - 40 players commenting on it...out of a userbase of how-many hundred thousand???
can you see how it might be just a LITTLE bit unimportant in the great scheme of things?

We are just the voice of those "many hundred thousand". I'm sure that many readers agree with what has been said, otherwise they would have left a comment saying they didn't. And I can tell from the now 45 pages of comments that the majority is in agreement.

Lat/Long, or Maidenhead grid, please. :)

I don't want my kids finding me too quickly... it's like having my own personal plague of locusts when they appear. If I'm feeling generous, I'll add the number of the OS map to the 6 figure grid. They're all military, just like their dad so I'm sure they can work it out :)

Here's my Maidenhead grid and lat/long...just out of interest :)

Grid: IO89qf
Latitude: 59.2274607 / 59° 13' 38" N Longitude: -2.6599473 / 2° 39' 35" W

Note that I *didn't* ask for the GMRS reference. :)

Something Frontier can't figure out on planet surfaces. :(

Even if this is a fun and interesting mission to do.

It's good once. Then what?

That's what i dont understand about Fdev. Why is so much effort put into single use content? Why does it seem like no effort is really put into the content that gets repetitively used?

Personally, i dont care about single use missions. Because i know they dont matter and can't matter because it's an online game where it's already been done by other players. So i dont bother. The grind of this particular mission doesn't even factor in.

They could have easily have made something only available when the star shone on a certain obelisk to slow down the solving of the puzzle. That would delay it by a day then making you have to come back (or wait).

In these days of Google earth and Google maps...GMRS or OS map references are purely for us old guys who remember hours of pain getting our heads around spherical trigonometry [yesnod]

The cold wars back on so maybe the only methods that will survive an EMP are going to be back in fashion.

Like I had to learn for my civilian license back in the seventies, or my formal navigation training in the military.

Remember the phrase "Can Dead Men Vote Twice?"

For you whippersnappers, that's Compass, Deviation, Magnetic North, Variation, and True North. Something Frontier has trouble with. :(
