Report issues using the Issue Tracker

Tell me – are applications and messages about problems voiced by players being processed or not? And then something does not see any movement at all on many detected and declared problems. Applications are accumulating and it is not clear – is it really possible to fix them at all?

They don't have enough QA to go around the amount of bugs on the game. There have been bugs since alpha launch that have not been fixed.

I just discovered another bug that prevents you from completing a mission if you take a mission with one faction, then settlement goes into CZ after, changes factions from the CZ ending and the other faction wins. So now I have a 47M payout locked.

Question that a decent QA should have asked: "What happens to missions taken from Settlement X+Faction A if after a CZ it changed to Settlement X+Faction B?"
I mean changing of factions on settlements was a feature implemented, they should've had minimum reasoning to think what would happen to anything faction related on that settlement.

As far as I am aware (which is not greatly) I suspect there is a huge backlog of things that need sorting, some of which are quickish, but a lot involve quite complex playing with the new system in quite convoluted ways, which may or may not cause even more things to break.... I see the Dev team kind of like plate spinners right now

Yeh but all the plates keep falling off the poles and the devs keep gluing them back together. But they have broken and been glued so many times they aren't round and flat any more. They are just shapeless amalgams of crockery that just fall and break as soon as anyone tries to spin them

Loads as far as the Welcome page but when i hit the PLAY button..........................................................................Nothing just turns blue again.

Two possible solutions:
1. Top right of launcher, click "Options > Select language... > English/System > Accept".
Restart launcher and it should work.
2. If you're still not able to play, you need to update MS C++ (2015 redist x86/x64) and .net (4.8).

Just had a second "new" salvage mission bug. Item is taken, get mission completed message (now leave), but the mission is not registering as such in the transactions tab, the mission marker stays and can be done again (to no effect apart from getting another item). The mission to hand in marker does not display. The mission cannot be handed in as the terminal does not register a completed mission.

New bug since last update on Odyssey :
_ Crew Member make one hit while in Fighter, and after allways repeat : no enemy even if there's 6 of them ....
_ Mission bug link with mega ship ...

So you're seeing a solid 60 fps? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that one, considering im running a rtx 3070 and ill get fps drops down to 30 in ground combat.
Running on a rtx 3070ti getting 140 fps. Ground combat down to around 90. Maybe there is another chokepoint in your rig?

I understand you want us to use the issue tracker, please do not take this wrong, but we have no idea if you are working on them or not, looking at them or not. I have issued a tracker on a issue since the last patch (5). And the same error still exists.

Which makes me curious, is anyone in Fdev even reading these that have been submitted.

Megaship cargo bay issue stayed 6 months out of the 2 years "acknoledged" and is still not fixed in horizons (only in odyssey, which won't bring people like me who have lost hope in the game).
So just keep in mind that your issue won't be fixed soon...

Paging @sallymorganmoore (one of the few people who do reply - I'd happily ping the others, but...!)

I'm one of the more positive folks about Odyssey, and have been able to live with the quibbles and bugs... until Patch 6. The game is now borked for me. I've encountered quite a few "glitchy" things like shield percentages remaining on the left panel (so planets, stations, even a targeted jump system shows a shield percentage!) Or going to settlements and being presented with a tiny landing pad HUD. And of course the second long delay for EVERY prohibited item people are trying to loot (which I know you guys have heard loud and clear, and are hopefully on.) But at the moment, the following bits have absolutely shattered the game experience:

NPCs not using flashlights (known and reported, hopefully they're on this).
Not only are the NPCs now impossible to spot in darkened settlements, but they seem to have suddenly been granted extreme tracking capabilities. NPCs are now spotting me while hiding and not making noise, from a serious distance while not even on my radar.

Retrieval missions can't be completed.
Take a mission which sends me to a nearby system. Arrive on site, take out NPCs. Salvage the item as instructed - am presented with a "Mission Objective:" message, but the mission progress doesn't update. Return to station to hand it in, can't do it. (Also note on these, the system it tells me to travel to is different than the one originally sent to.)

Game hanging when disembarking from SRV after changing loadout:
I have a couple of different suits I use, and one of them is one I found at a Frontier shop that came with extra backpack capacity. If I arrive at a settlement, there are times I need to switch suits, and... well, now I can't. The game will send me to a black screen where I hear the temperature warning, and that's it. Only action is to CTRL-ALT-DELETE and end the task, which leads me to the next issue...

ALL materials despawning if the game has to be left for any reason.
While I understand that people exploit relogging to farm materials and whatnot, and that this might be intentional - other reasons cause people to have to leave the game too. Someone's at the door. Work. Family. Dinner. The need to go to the bathroom. And currently in Odyssey, crashes. Lots of them. And if that happens at a site for any reason... then EVERYTHING at the site is gone. Well, except for the NPCs without flashlights currently gunning for us... (Also, if this is intentional, it does make "the grind" fairly extreme, so would suggest removing it!)

This comment is like gold dust to me. Sorry for the late response, a weekend got in the way but this is such a thoughtful breakdown of issues, thank you! Grabbed!
