Any suggestions for improvements, missing shortcuts, etc.. are always welcome.

For now I'm happy with the look of the buttons, so I'll probably just make a 6x4 version for 16:9 screens and then wait & see what extra shortcuts Frontier add in the future.

Control Ship Systems via Tablet (iPad & Android)

I've been messing about with Roccat Power grid this morning and whipped up a basic layout for control over the ships core equipment.

Set up:

You need to download 2 bits of free software:

The server which runs on your PC : http://power-grid.roccat.org/en/Download/

You can download roccat power grid for your tablet for free here :

Install them both, get your tablet connected to your computer and you nearly ready to go. You just need the grid.

I've uploaded my files to mega for you to download.

It contains every png file, the psd file and other bits and bobs so you can tweak, alter & adapt anything you want.

It also contains the grid package so you can just import it and use it straight away.

As a show of support just bought 3 tabs, which should come in handy in the future(when your software is updated to work on my iPad in IOS 8.XX) :cool:
Till then will use my Note 3 :D

Just thought I'd add my vote to the ROCCAT love-in.

It took me a while to get my configuration (plus custom audio) set up, but now it's done I don't play Elite without it.

Whilst not essential it allows me to do seamlessly play ED whilst ignoring the keyboard and also controlling my iTunes 'random play' which accompanies my 'space-faring exploits'.

Current track 'Hello Earth' by Kate Bush... appropriate no?

I just sat down to try Beta 3 for the first time since the update and found Power Grid unable to connect :(. Hope it is just a server glitch as I have been using MoodyB's grid along side my MS Sidewinder P/Pro USB since playing the ED beta 2 and haven't bothered to learn the key binds. I was planning on adding a Spotify tab to allow some in game music too.
