Ok let me give you the run down..

1st half season 1 great potential
2nd Half - Dull dull then good build up to a great cliff hanger

Season 2 much better - and better story overall much more interesting.

So big hopes for this season.

I bought this week the startrek nextgeneration DVD box. So are mid season 1.

JL Picard and Janeway are to me believable captains.
That quantumleap dude have no captian feel to so fake. Trip yuk. did watch few seasons just ignore them. And then as Micheal in Atlantis.

I don't like McGuyver. Took a few season to see RDA as Jack O' Niell.

I think he's just describing how it felt. The original BSG was quite fun and the good guys won (most of the time) just like SG1, SGA. The new BSG and SGU went for a more gritty realistic feel that some folks really didn't like which sadly made the shows a lot darker in their themes. Personally I really like the new BSG and SGU and really do wish SGU had another couple of seasons to finish as it was just getting good when they canned it.

Changing the subject slightly......Is anyone else thinking Defiance is becoming a little bit Eastenders in the future.....Sorry im getting bored with it...
Revolution seems much more of a good story and action packed..

For something that had so much hype to begin with....I have now mastered falling asleep halfway through ;)

Saw a trailer for this the other day and recorded it last night(still to watch yet)...THE RETURN

French supernatural drama, adapted from the 2004 film Les Revenants (aka They Came Back), about a small town where various long-dead members of the community return to life...

Getting good reviews, depends if you like subtitles, or know French! i think my first subtitled Film was Das boot(loved it)

A brilliant film/series, was Das Boot - and it worked better with subtitles rather than dubbed.
The novel is well worth the read too - excellent. <glances at his bookshelf>

I think the first subtitled film I saw (at the cinema) was Tarkovsky's Solaris in 1972 - also brilliant!

Think I am going to give that one a miss Mobius, the trailer just looks like one long CGI extravaganza with very little to indicate that a worthwhile story is actually lurking.
