That will never happen. Players will not build or own stations but a player can influence the building of a station by finding an uninhabited system with useful resources that a faction would like to utilise, they will, once you have returned with the data to them, send a team of station builders out to colonise the system and build a station and you can help in its manufacture by providing supplies etc.
Read the DDF on the subject. Note: this might not actually be implemented for some time yet.

I think i've been out alone for too long. Starting to see things in nebulae. I look over my shoulder and see this in the galactic dust...

That's... a darned dark skinned glowy-eyed giant leaping toward your ship. Creepy.

Yep, I also found about those barriers when I attempted to invade earth, quite a disappointment to my plans. Only thing to do is to wait for planetary landings. :/

On the bright side I upgraded my clipper to do some exploring and I've seen some amazing views in my trip to the witch head nebula.


Nothing too special, just a pretty eclipse.

I believe this is flame horse nebula, with a face that resembles a cat's face to the upper right of the nebula.

That is beautiful! A perfect eclipse and a bright purple star, I also like the red one, it adds some nice color to it all.

If only we had drones for 3rd person camera..
