What about the "$####minorFaction:style:name=keyword;" Surface Hunt for a Politician mission description bug? However, I am glad to see Frontier revisit (yet again) the massacre mission bugs.
 
If I am in open play doing powerplay and BGS, I can just block everyone from that faction and effectively play solo but in open.
Its abuse-able weather you think so or not, a block should be the social side NOT a way to avoid death in an online game.

and if they are useing a exploit that what the report function does.
Since there is no difference in playing the BGS in open or solo you fail to make a point.
 
Speaking of holes in the geometry; It would be kind of nice if somebody were to set some time aside to stitch up the seams between the pilot's wrists and gloves. Nothing that affects the game in any way, but a bit of a persistent eyesore. :7

Is that a sort-of-fix for the geological signals taking far too long to resolve? (This issue, currently the second most voted.) Log them in the journal, so that third-party tools can alert the player once the scan is finished in the background?
I don't think they fixed it. I think it now can be logged into a journal to be read by third party applications?

A good bit of the top 25 voted fixes are still being ignored...or at least not communicated as being under development, in this patch or others to come. But with this fixes it will free up more low hanging maintenance mode fruit for December.
 
Hmmm... SLFs may revert to not making you pariah in Open or PG; but they left out the bit about being able to re-hire your old SLF pilot using ARX if your ship is destroyed... I'm sure that was just a small oversight.... ;)
They really need to provide a way to buy an escape pod for and rescue your pilots, but not with ARX.

Would be really nice if there was some kind of sub-mission system added to the search and rescue.

I may have missed it, but any idea of how big the update file will be? Just curious. I may have to find something else to do tomorrow.

So lets just keep beating player piracy's corpse am I right guys? Its not like its not already hard enough as it is to find people willing to haul cargo/mine in open. Now when you encounter the one player pirate left in open you can just block them! Totally makes sense...
 
So, still no fix for the brightnes spike we get in the screen just after leaving the galaxy map?
Very disappointing considering this issue is immersion breaking, has been in the game since the first patch deployed this year, and has been reported to QA by several players, including myself.
I wonder if I should waste my time and open another ticket...

Please, please do this for the rest of Outfitting, too. Regarding mine launchers, long ships were being hit and damaged by their own exploding mines? Doesn't anyone dumb enough to fit mine launchers to the front of their ship deserve to die of stupidity? What navy builds mine-layers that drop mines under their own ship? Keel-hauling your own mines . . . bad!
