Server status on launcher just popped to 'OK'
Game is booting up, and I'm sitting in my Sidey where I left it.

Galmap starting up, last route is visible. Seems to be working so far.
Kudos to all involved at FD. I know it s***s big time to be called back in just when you're home and start to relax.

What did I miss? You must have cleaned the thread. Because I dont see anything to cause you to be triggered like that...

From speaking with the server team, there were some issues initially with the server cluster that needed a rebuild. After this, a new issue of data being translated between server and client was identified. This has now been fixed, but we're still monitoring things on this end to ensure we're smooth sailing.

Yeah. 70% of the way to Champion. Current unlock rank of 47, though was hoping to get past 48 tonight :D
There's quite a few regulars most evenings and weekends.
Find it a very welcome distraction from the grind in the main game. - AND a heck of a lot more fun at times :D

I'm back in (on PC), plotted a route & made several jumps without incident. Thanks to all who helped with the fix and it's repercussions.

As games go ED is normally very reliable IME, when server problems do occasionally crop up they are addressed quickly, even when it's the middle of the night on a weekend.

However there was an element of 'I'm sure it'll be fine' jumping the gun on this occasion that didn't inspire great confidence. I hope that can be avoided in future incidents.
