Can you go through the support tickets and refund the transaction issues as well? Probably happened to a lot more than just me.
Customer Support is outside of my realm of power, however you're welcome to PM me your ticket ID and i can let CS know about it.
Thanks Brett. Good to know FD are on the case. Do you have an ETA to fix?
I am awaiting to hear back from the server team.
I had to rep you for this line ... I couldn't help but think of what you might have wanted to say, but I won't type it here ;)
I was tempted to post this: http://i.imgur.com/C38MRcB.gif
LOL, going to have a Gin while I wait. Maybe in a little bit, this won't matter...
Only the moderators know of my mishap with Gin and tonic... ;)
Every time this happens multi-page threads appear like a rash in the discussion forum.
It would really help if FD updated this page https://community.elitedangerous.com/ if there's a problem.

<edit>oops it's been updated :) </edit>
You saw nothing! ;)

"Please use this thread to talk amongst yourselves while we resolve the issue at hand. "

Does anyone think this sounds deeply patronising? Because I do.

"... while we resolve the issue at hand." It is pretty clear why they won't take part in this talk, isn't it?

But tbh at first I thought the same.

What would you suggest? Should they hire a psychologist to help us deal with the issues resulting from this massive catastrophy and keep us company through these difficult times?

That`s what I get for upsetting the devs on my earlier posts ..... SO SORRY GUYS AND GALS AND PPL OF NON HUMANKIND ... I know you all work hard, but we were made with 2 eyes and ears and 1 gob..... plz listen and read all comments made by your customers even the bad 1`s .... don`t take it to heart if some are negative, thru negative comes positivety. This game is a work of art even though the filling is somewhat thin. peace and love to all.

I had the same message, and last night I'd had an unrecoverable crash just as I docked in a station. For a second, I thought the two were related and I was stuck in some crash bug that would not let me log in.

I have this feeling that as time goes by this will become more and more common due to more people playing.
Happy but at the same time not happy
So if someone were to go on an Internet crusade to negatively affect the sales of ED, purely hypothetical mind you, then chances are the servers will go offline less often in the future? Hmmmm.... >;)

Can we start placing bets on when the next instability will be. It sounds quite immersive (really).
Next Friday is a pretty safe bet, I reckon, if not sooner.

Every minute servers are down, CMDRs should receive 1000 cr
Every time servers go down unplanned, customers should recieve a £1 refund. In time, we'll all have our free game, yay!

Yes it probably is but have you thought that there's probably 15 million lines of code to search.

probably even much more, but let's be real here. Games aren't written in plain text. This is an easy fix or rather addition, since it's not a bug, but simply a missing feature. Even a couple thousand lines of code in one block are really easy to look through if you know what you're looking for.

I was going to be a bit rude, but decided this was funnier:
