Ship integrity in 1.3

Asp, 6-star jump, shields, both ends local alliance/friendly (not major powers).

My SOP for quitting is that I fuel up, repair (hull integrity) and pack the ship for immediate travel when I log back in.

Today when I logged in, I had both a 4k fuel bill and 33.5k "integrity"

Why? I hadn't gone anywhere.

1% hull integrity was 33k.
Refuel [from 'fastest routes' = fill tank = 32t] was 4k.

This kills exploring & rare trading for me. If this isn't a bug, I'm done with this game :(

Seriously, just had to repair a 3% drop in hull integrity for MORE THAN 850K. I'd like to be measured about it, but I think I'll just complain instead

Now as interdiction became more needful in actual gameplay, each Interdiction cost me up to 150 000 Cr.... thats hard to compensate!

I just noticed this when I was delivering packages for PowerPlay. The reward just isn't worth it. The fuel alone is enough to make it unprofitable, but dare I take any damage and I'll have to go and farm a few hours to compensate.

Hmmmm, on another thread a chap is reporting that in combat his T9 got taken down to 72% hull and 74% powerplant and the repair bill came to 21k. Rather different from the experiences being reported here. Something more is going on than is immediately obvious I think.

That 33k was at both ends, whereas integrity took about 4-5 rounds to show before.

This has to be a bug.

Rare trading dead? Not really, since you should make couple million per completed back and forth in Asp, right? That´s about ~4,3% of your total profit.
However, this does hit exploration and sucks up already meager credit income down even further if you use anything bigger than a hauler (or something).

I also noticed that ship/hull integrity repair prices have been drastically increased. My T7 (all modules at 100%) costs 349446 Cr to fix 4%. It was like 3-7k Cr (can't remember exactly) per percent of hull integrity damage before 1.3.

If it's not in the patch notes, it's an unforeseen effect of the upgrade and we can expect it to be reverted back to sanity promptly.

Assuming a lot of things.

I made 2 jumps with my Python and paid a 850k ship integrity cost (98%) !!! 850k !!! Ok, i'll wait a little bit for a patch. 850k !!! OMG ! 850k !!!!

I loathe this whole concept of ship integrity, especially the current implementation of it. For the more expensive ships, I feel it has gotten out of hand. It looks like I can only -economically viable- fly my Anaconda as a trader. Everything else just seems to be losing money. Instead I'd rather have ship prices go up and being able to enjoy them (with much more manageable ship integrity costs).

Currently flying an explorer Anaconda but asking myself if it is economically better to not play at all...

It also depends if you are Allied with the repair station...
When I was friendly with a station, my Anaconda cost 60,000cr to fix 1% of hull integrity (in 1.2), but was 30,000cr when I was in an Allied station.

Not now. I get exactly the same Integrity repair cost (Asp, 99%, 33,306cr) at an "allied" and a "neutral" station. Previously "allied" gave a 50% reduction.

However, that 33,306cr didn't change after a supercruise trips to several stations, which suggests that something is bugged. Perhaps if I repair it to zero I'll see.

Fuel has increased by a factor of 4, I don't get the "allied" station reduction which was previously 20%

EDIT: Not related, but the rares allocation at Coquim just maxed out at 9t. Previously was 20t. Hopefully just a glitch?
EDIT2: It seems that the allocation is unchanged, but the market now shows Blank rather than 0 while waiting for the next batch.

Fuel costs are fine by me, gives a fuel scoop purpose outside rares and exploring.

But holy crap, 220k in repairs from doing an 85k CR mission on my clipper is pretty . Only 2% integrity loss btw.

Fixpls.
