So many incredible setups, from simple, to funny, to beautiful, to just downright scary expensive.
Lot of really crazy things I didn't think were even possible, kinda inspired to find a means of making more money to start a much needed upgrade and get some pink liquid cooling tubes, or something. Also need a better chair... Sitting on this wooden dine chair, even though has cushion, I'm pretty fu- freakin' jelly how comfortable majority of you seem to be when gaming. I'd also like to invest in those groovy joystick HOTAS thingamabobs. I mean, I'm pretty content with M/KB for ED but I do think It's time to kick it up a notch. Also would like another monitor, and backlights. Like, pink, blue and maybe green... Yes... Yes... Ziltoid approves.

For VR I recommend Google Cardboard.

I have EXACTLY the same thing! We have learnt now that standing on the keyboard, and standing in front of the screen is bad, but knee sitting is good. And yes, she stubbornly clings on for the bumpy ride of interdictions!

I've since placed her cat tree directly to the left of the desk. After not seeing me for awhile though, she gets rather affectionate... and thus, my keyboard is inoperable. Thankfully I removed all bindings from it, so I just have to worry about razors lancing through my flesh because the joystick has pretty lights, and therefore must be batted at.
Also, that's a 21:9 monitor in my pic. It makes Elite look very, very nice. Wide FOV is awesome. Res is alright (2560x1080).

Thanks to a very generous friend who had a spare HOTAS, I have been able to replace my tattered and busted X52 with a brand new X52 PRO!!!

I also got a knock-off X-Box controller, which half works. But at least it means that I can drive the SRV without knackering the joystick!

O you do not know the half! Actually all those cables u can see are underneath a large desk along a wall, so they don't actually go anywhere.
But yes... downstairs, I have a 7.1 speaker system. Holy cow. Those things are designed for single people who live in a gallery where trailing wires is kinda installation art. I had to make a piece of furniture JUST to house the woofer in such a way that I could coral and manage the 14 thousand wires that are vital to make it work! Now I'm in the position where I am having to keep an absolutely appalling old small form factor Dell running, which is missing half its case, because it is the only device I have that can sit downstairs (ED is upstairs) as a Mediabox. I have laptops and other better machines, but they are even smaller form factor, and I can't get a 7.1 soundcard in any of them. Despite this being a slim card, I still had to saw part of the case open to get the blighter in!
And that's before we get to the next room which is where the music is being set up...
And yes I am single. Why, what would that have anything to do with it? I don't understand that relevance, why you would even ask that, I could get a girlfriend at anytime.
