Praying you feel better soon! And, also that you don't have any of the pain... The pain was soooo weird about covid. I'd go to sleep after tossing and turning only to wake up again from the pain...

Omg that sounds horrible. I didn't even know COVID causes pain. I just had a fever, a deep exhaustion, a stuffy nose and the loss of taste and smell :( While the fever lasted for only one day and the exhaustion got better over time, the loss of smell and taste didn't get any better. It scares the crap out of me.

Yours sounds horrible too. Sickness exhaustion is the worse :( My family and I had it in September 2021... It took, a little over a week. We tested positive for covid. Although I haven't heard to much about pain aside from our experience... I'm glad you're feeling better aside from the taste. I remember how coffee tasted like mud and pizza like bricks for me.

I had the same the first time I got covid. It took as long as 2 months for me for my senses to recover completely. At first I only started to recognize very prominent tastes, like super sweet or super sour food, then it gradually got better, but yeah, took a while for me.

Second time I got covid I recovered the senses quite faster. Really weird and individual I suppose.

Whoa! That must have been hard and I can imagine you forget how certain things used to smell or taste when it takes so long to recover from this x(

Poor you @Britches ! Is it your first time having it? I've now had it four times, in spite of having every vaccine I could get. It was quite different each time (and less bad each time, first was by far the worst), but everytime I lost taste and smell and felt completely exhausted. Your senses will absolutely come back, please don't worry, shouldn't take much longer hopefully. It's a very disconcerting feeling. I also find that when I'm physically ill my mental health suffers too, especially anxiety. So if you're having anxious thoughts and feelings it might also be because you're so tired and depleted 🩵

Just imagine a round-bodied fren purring up next to you and have lots of hot water and comforting things 🩵
Hope it passes soon.

I love it when I'm at a botanical garden and I see the plants I use in Planet Zoo..
It's a stupid thing I know but like... Dang it's him. It's the periwinkle leaves.
Kind of like me except it's air conditioning units lol, I hate myself for it but after building like 500 air conditioning props for the planet zoo workshop I can't help but notice all the models I built ingame.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it's really the first time I've had the virus, so I couldn't rely on past experiences. And I made the mistake of looking online for when the sense of smell and taste would come back. Of course, there were all these horror stories from people whose senses never returned :( You could definitely say that it’s quite scary :( But next Tuesday, everything will be forgotten anyway 🐱

Got a pic of a raven, sadly it was injured

Oh gosh, I saw the news about that and thought of all the people on this forum that would be affected. Will certainly be keeping you in my thoughts. Have you made it out of town? Hope it passes quickly and is gentler than antipated. Stay safe 🩵
We're in Central Florida (by "we," I mean me and my parents; I'm saving up for my own home), and we didn't get hit as bad. Our house is pretty sturdy too. It can withstand hurricane-force winds. I think most buildings in Florida can.

I am going to Disney's animal kingdom for the first time ever this Christmas, does anyone know if they still keep any of: Springbok, Thomson's Gazelle and Gerenuk? and if so where they keep them?
I can't speak on that. However, I highly recommend riding the dinosaur ride while you can. Disney plans on getting rid of it and replacing the whole area with a Tropical Americas area.

Is it weird that I want to buy Planet Coaster 1 and all its DLC now that Planet Coaster 2 is coming out? I only just now released that it's actually a theme-park simulator where you can build other rides besides just coasters, including dark rides. If I had all the DLC, I could build all my favorite Disney rides like the Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, and maybe Pirates of the Carribean (They have boat ride and it looks like the have pirate-themed scenery maybe in the game). Well, I've actually never ridden Big Thunder Mountain but I really like the other 3 rides I mentioned and Haunted Mansion is basically the ride in the Spooky DLC and Jungle Cruise plus Indiana Jones rides are basically the rides in the Adventure DLC. There's a mine-train ride like Big Thunder Moutain in ones of the DLCs but I forgot which one. I also really want to buy Planet Coaster 2 when it comes out now as well. It also helps that I just found out they have animal animatronics in both PC 1 and will have some more in PC 2, including animatronic fish.

I can see that it would be a fun time to get into the game because you'll have the complete set to play with.

On the other hand, only 4 weeks until 2 is out and it looks like they've improved the dark rides a lot for that. Plus you'll be able to do more with water, and things like the pathing will be smoother.

You'll also get a head start on the mechanics that will probably make it into PZ2 if that matters to you in any way.

Just depends on what you'd prefer really - a complete game now, or a better game soon to come (but with waits for all the DLC you'd need). Or if you're flush for cash I guess you can do both 😂
