Here are my tips:
  • Get there an hour or two before they open if you're not staying at any of the Universal hotels.
  • Do the Harry Potter ride first. It's worth it. The line will immediately jump to three hours long the minute the park opens.
  • The rest of your day is based on what you prioritize. My order was Harry Potter, Stardust Racers, Monsters Unchained, meet Frankenstein's Monster and the Bride, Curse of the Werewolf, lunch at the Oak and Star Tavern, meet Toothless, Mario Kart, play the Super Nintendo World mini games, Monsters Unchained again, meet Ygor, and dinner at the Blue Dragon.
  • Take time to take in the scenery. This park was designed to be visually impressive, so take in as much as you can. The Celestial Park area is also quite tranquil.
  • If you wanna meet characters, lean into the bit. Ask questions. Have fun with it.
Was the shade situation as bad as I’ve read online or are people exaggerating?

Oh trust we always have fun meeting characters my wife has all the enthusiasm of a little kid at Disney when she sees a meet and greet 😂

I’m a coaster guy but I really want to check out the Dark Rides and I love Nintendo so I might prioritize them after getting on Harry Potter. Thank you for the tips. I heard Stardust never has that insane of a line so that’s good. That’s my most hyped
Oh and I forgot one: the park is very open, and there's not a lot of places where you can get out of the rain. Pack an umbrella/raincoat/poncho. Also, only three rides are 100% indoors: Mario Kart, Battle at the Ministry, and Monsters Unchained. The rest will close due to weather. The stage shows might still be open though.

Alright, I'd like to see a Bearded Vulture on this forum tomorrow 👌
A little late but here you go:

Oh awesome, have a great time! Please share a pic of the animal/habitat that surprises you the most :)
habitat wise there was not much new but I've seen baby binturongs for the first time and I was surprised how cute and tiny they really were🥰

Guys. I'm going to be in singapur in december and I might have a whole day alone (my friends return earlier than me) and i don't have anything planned. Do you recomend going to the singapur zoo or another park is better? How about the bird park?

From what ive heard both of them are really cool. I mean for the proboscis monkey alone i think a visit to the zoo would be neat.

Tricky question, i believe the singapore zoo is the best as a all rounder, and also because of it rarities.

With that said, Bird paradise always felt like a better experience IMO because of the aviaries and jaw droping structures.

Awwwwww I die! I gasp! I squeem!

I freaking love binturongs 😍 they really do smell like popcorn. The boys do anyway. Great cologne idea, I'd be all over it.

I'm going to Malasia (Borneo island) as well, on "safari". I'm hoping to spot the proboscis monkey in the wild 🤞🏻

But if anyone has been to the singapur animal parks i would like to know which one recomend. I will probably just have time for one.
Aw yay! I'm so glad your travel plans have come together! Where are you going in Borneo? Is it the place I recommended or did you find somewhere else? I hope you see the proboscis, you will for sure see the sweet little leaf monkeys and maybe some langurs and gibbons, and hopefully orangutans as well :)
