Guys can you help me with something? I installed a bunch of mods from Nexus but I am a derp-de-derp and didn't know that modded animals don't work on Franchise. My current zoo project is in Franchise so I want to uninstall them and save them for another time when I'm playing sandbox. But I've read that uninstalling them can cause the game to crash. Any advice?

Had a few run ins with Coyotes, seen Pronghorns, Prairie Dogs and Bighorn Sheep in the wild, as well as Finback and Humpback Whales.
I have never seen a Coyote... Foxes yes. Including a beautiful Cross Fox when we went to the 2017 total solar eclipse. which I'd recommend anyone whom has the means to go try and see a total solar eclipse!

I think you have to remove them from the habitats and get rid of them before.
But to be sure id ask on the modding discord sever

You will have to be careful you don't remove the official files. Then, you will verify the game files in Steam. At least that's what I have to do.

The reason I want to uninstall them is because in Franchise they are appearing as interspecies bonus animals, so lots of my habitat animals are unable to get 100% welfare because they are missing these modded animals that I can't give them for company. Also they make scrolling through the zoopedia and trading market slower as there are so many species to scroll through now.

Can I check if I've got this right?

1. I tested a couple of the animals in sandbox, so I should go in there and remove them from the game and the trade centre

2. Delete the mod files only from the ovldata folder (I actually want to cut and paste them to a separate folder on my desktop so I can save them for later)

3. Verify the game files

I've fallen into a bit of a rabbit hole lately.

So there's this town (technically city) near me called Quincy. There's a shipyard there that was used to construct ships for the world wars.
Apparently it was founded by Thomas A. Watson, Alexander Graham Bell's assistant. Yes, the Alexander Graham Bell that invented the telephone. He had racked up some serious wealth from the invention and decided to try out shipbuilding. The Quincy Shipyard was founded and got a contract to build for the Navy.

A couple boats in and he realized the closest railway was two miles away. A railway would be crucial to transport supplies to the ships. So he built his own.

The Fore River Railway is still running even though the shipyard is now shut down. It transports fertilizer pellets and fatty acids from two nearby factories. It only has 2.7 miles of track and also runs on part of the MBTA's Greenbush Line. It's such a cool little niche railway with such an interesting history.

Ugh, I wish we had an optional offline Franchise mode. I like the idea, but it'd be nice for it to be offline, too. Then mods would work perfectly...

I'm actually surprised, as coyotes take over where wolves aren't. I usually see regular coyotes, but a melanistic one did walk by the porch up at the farm

Yes. But definitely as @Marvinb said double check on the Modding Discord! Before you do anything. I don't want to be responsible for breaking your game.

Yeah that's right, the most important step is do not have any modded animals in the trade center, this is the main cause of modding crashes.

Wow, that sounds so so pretty.

"A lake house" seems to be something some lucky Americans have. We don't get those here, property is so expensive. Wealthy Brits used to buy second homes in France and Spain but we shot ourselves in the foot with Brexit and that's really the least of the problems it caused!
My family owns a house in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Everyone usually goes a couple times over the summer. Old Orchard feels like you're stepping back in time to the 90s, there's a big carnival and pier, we actually rarely go to the beach though. There's just so much more to do. I've seen many interesting birds up there such as loons and phoebes.

Well, work was postponed today, so I have the whole week off. YES, BOO YAH
