Small Worlds Expedition 2!

If, after recent events, you think anyone in SDC can be trusted to keep their word then I have this really good value bridge to sell you. Also a retirement home orbiting Sag A*.

Not gonna join the Expedition, as I only play in Open.

Also, another catch. The Diagram on page 5 or 6 is incorrect. Adder is multi-crew, but only has 4 slots, not 5. It's in it's own category, technically.

There are ship builds that cover this information; I'm sure that image is very aged at this point.

Sorry to hear you will not partake in the expedition; every expedition I have read / partaken in etc. take place in private groups.
You're more than welcome to continue on the expedition in Open play; however, be aware that there likely will be no action; as we expect well over 150cmdrs during WP0 at the growing rate.

SDC members have partaken in many very large expeditions and have never caused and issue and have always followed PG rules; this is nothing out of the ordinary.

Sorry my comment was a little bit too sarcastic. I am not planning to open fire on anyone. I'll fly a shieldless hauler ;) As long as you dont see the well known magician as a possible problem, then its fine for me

Anyone with spare cargo space, don't forget to pop out to the ancient ruins to grab your "ancient orb" relics, they make great SRV footballs.. really wish we'd had them on distant worlds!

Can neither confirm nor deny that I have played SRV Football / SRV Rocket League on an expedition before........

Excellent catch, thanks, and updated!

An Eagle was a lot of fun, I enjoyed mine last year quite a lot.
I couldn't bring an SRV, and had to stuff an extra fuel tank in to actually not have to call the fuel rats, and the lack of a DSS, but it was an absolute blast otherwise!
Imperial Eagle is slightly better with increased jump range, and increased speed.

Can confirm, Eagle's are a lot of fun.
If we had an engineer that could roll us an ADS and an DSS into one, I would take the Eagle again.

Mine was fittet with biggest Fuelscoop possible, SRV, Shield (for I am Captain Potato!) and of cause ADS.
Not much modding done as I only had access to Felicity Farseer at that point, still 27+ LY range.

You have to refuel at every second star though, so you have to "watch your step". ;)

I found the ancient orb to be not a very good football at all... that thing tends to get stuck under your SRV constantly, but then again I was never good at any kind of sport.
An SRV-Wreck was a far better "football", much more reliable, more responsive, and it could not get stuck below you. ;)

However, I consider it will be rather difficult to find a volunteer for this... :p

I just saw that CMDR Harry Potter is listed as attendee - Should I warn you that this CMDR is a public known greifer? Check Youtube, the forums and other channels for his name, and you'll see, that it might not be a good idea to let him join the private group.

^ this forum has now officially jumped the shark.

We know, everyone knows.. it's fine.

Well, count me and my new and shiny Rennsemmel IV (Dolphin) in - if all goes to plan, i will even bring some Fuel-Limpets to get some CMDRs out of trouble ;)

Just double-checked, the Adder has 5 Internal Compartments.
I was at first confused when I looked at my Adder in the Shipyard-Screen, as my Disco-Scanner is listed under "Utility", rather then Internal Compartments.

Apart from that, I fully agree with your statment that the Adder is in it's own category. ;)

Well, I was never a big fan of the CoR cult or their bicycle figurehead, so when I heard Cmdr Potter had boiled her it was the best news I'd heard all year. If I have the opportunity, I'm looking forward to thanking him for that personally.

OP updated again; for anyone curious about the current statistical information, here it is.
This isn't 100% accurate to what is on OP as there are behind the scene edits occuring on the Discord server that aren't yet visible here.

Just saw Harry Potter too. (CMDR #167). He is SDC and an infamous griefer. (Famously murdered Salome in the recent CG) He should not be allowed into this group in my opinion.
BE WARNED COMMANDERS HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
Not trying to throw this under the bus CMDRs just warning you. You wouldn't trust a shark in a public bathing area would you? Same goes here.

BE WARNED COMMANDERS.

Couldn't help but notice, at the pre-meet on Saturday, the 2 SDC guys were sitting there quite happily firing off chaff and enjoying the gathering, it was the "peaceful" explorer types who opened fire first... Just sayin'

I'm sure when it comes to the actual expedition, everyone will put aside grudges/KoS lists and just enjoy themselves, save the PvP for open play!
