I quite like the idea of starting over again, in a Sidey, with 100cr in the bank. But don't want to lose all I've built up (see signature for the fleet) so have never gone near the idea. I did think I could take my credit balance and mentally ignore the first xx million, and pretend I just had 100cr, but that seems a little awkward.
I've been saving up for the Mil Spec bulkheads for the T7 (yes, I know!), and have 14.3m in the bank right now, which is enough for me (they cost 14.1m at the Founders World).
It made me wonder, if I buy that big item, and find a way to spend the remaining few hundred thousand, to leave me at or close to 32,100, enough to buy a basic Sidey and 100 Cr cash. True, I'd have a garage of ships worth 50m+, but I could jet off to another bit of the galaxy and 'start over'.
Just curious if others have done this, or have ideas about how to 'start over' without really starting over. I think those early stages of the game are very good. As a backer I had the luxury of a Cobra start and 1000cr, although throughout testing in 2014 kept going back to the start.
