Solo Play interactions with other players

Hi! I have three questions relating this topic:
1. In Solo Play, do other ships represent real players or they are AIs?
2. Am I destroyable in Solo Play Mode if I slow down in space somewhere in a star system and quit from the game application? How does other players see and interact with my ship when I am offline but in space?
3. Generally and practically what's the difference how other players see my ship when I am offline, between Solo Play and Open Play?

1) No, the other ships you see in Solo are A.I.
2) You are not destroy-able while logged out.
3) No one sees your ship when you are offline. As a matter of fact, no one sees your ship when you are in Solo, either.

In SOLO, you're all alone. So alone. Everything you see are NPCs.

When you log off, your ship is no longer in the game. Nobody can see or interact with it.

1) As a matter of fact, no one sees your ship when you are in Solo, either.

And in many cases, the same can be said for OPEN mode. ;)

1) Just AIs. Other player actions can change the sort of AIs which appear - for example, if there's a lot of players trading in a system, it may end up in Boom state and Wedding Barges will start talking to you in supercruise.

2) Your ship is not in the game at all when you're offline, so no-one else (player or NPC) can see or interact with it, and you can't be destroyed.
(You can of course log off in such a dangerous position - the cone of a neutron star, perhaps - that your destruction when you log back in is inevitable)

This is fortunate - some stations are busy enough with logged-in players, never mind offline players also taking up the landing pads!

3) None at all - offline is offline whether you were last in Solo or Open. (If you're on the main menu rather than having exited the game, people on your friends list can see you're at the main menu and send you messages)

1. I Solo, as the name suggests, you are the only player. Everybody else you encounter will be AI.
2. Once you log off, you disappear from the game until you log on again. Time continues to pass so any missions that are due to expire before you log back in will fail, but as a presence in the galaxy you will not exist while offline. There are no other players in Solo, so nobody will be around to see you vanish. In other modes, however, they will. If you are in the middle of a fight when you do it, this will upset them terribly and is considered bad form. This is why the game imposes a fifteen-second timer if you attempt to log out while "in danger".
3. I think 1 and 2 just about covered it. :)

Darn! Five replies in the time it took to compose that. I really must stop taking so long over proof-reading.
