I followed your theory yesterday and went to Leonard Nimoy Station before logging off. I'm going to search SS and check back for missions every so often.

This is my first post on the forums btw! Trying to keep up with this thread and thought I would join in.

Well, with all other commanders around it seems that we searched it enough. But the question is if spawn rate is just very low as mentioned by Michael or there is also some time/quantity or any other restraint (like "no more than two containers spawned per week in some area of universe, which is always changing"). If it is first case (which seems to be more probable), it's better to try luck in areas where UA was confirmed before. :)

As as far as I know we don't have any confirmed finds.

Good idea. I often find that if I feel bogged by something, like gaining rep or ranks, a shift in focus helps to put it in context (and half the time whatever it is happens while you're not really looking). "A watched kettle never boils" and all that. ;)

Since I have had no luck in Timocani the last three days, I moved my search to He Bo but still no sightings
More of the same from the WSS/USS/SSS

Thinking as a SF fan, the UA will probably lead to the "item" that DB mentioned in the AMA. Other than that I think that there will be nothing because works are in progress.
You will probably want me dead for what follows, but I'm worry a little because FD "waste" its time for doing that PVP stuff named Powerplay.

I think the UA *is* the item DB mentioned. Also, Power Play is not PvP at all, or certainly not PvP specific. It adds something for everyone. But that's a different discussion. :)

My theory is a theory, of course. I can not be sure of that. Hoping it will not be a fail.

No; UA is not the item DB talked about.
DB talked about something on deep space answering to a guy asking for exploration stuff. Exploration is an activity related to deep space exploration, where deep space, in this context means out of inhabited space.
On the other side, you are stating that UA has to be found into inhabited space, so it can not be the DB item.
And... last... into file folders there is another object.

I never say more a word about my disappoint on PP

Hm, okay.

I just checked many out at the Founders World but as everywhere else I've checked within 1000LY - all standard stuff...

I think I've seen enough Signal Sources and remote Planets for the time being, I'll cease searching for now. No point in grinding in the dark.

Define deep space. It's most probably found in systems inside and around inhabited space (among others) but still in space. Even taken literally "Deep Space" can be found inside any system, even Sol. We don't know what DB meant. We need to be careful what is stated as fact. We need to stay objective and scientific.
