Must just be me, never seen it take this long to populate the mission board before. Hopefully this remains a viable route for some time to come.

Yeah same for me, just the 2 mission givers. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Well I ain't an expert but given it's sunday night I doubt they have changed anything on the server to affect this, it might be related to the economics or political state possibly?

Wow! This just goes to show how bad the RNG nature of the game can be. I've just spent the last hour running between Ceos and Sothis in my long haul 200t Python; delivering data missions and stacking the slave and haulage ones.

I'm now sitting ready to depart (but that will be tomorrow PM as I'm off to bed now) with 198t out of 200t filled with cargo and having just run down my transactions tab with some very quick adding up - I'll be 45 million CR richer tomorrow evening if all goes to plan.

One more of these runs and I'll have enough for a conda and to spec it out how I want for long range hauling.

And yes, the current state of the system will also have a bearing on the missions available. These two system are coming out of Outbreak status, so you'll see requests for basic meds, food items, and all sorts of basic commodities. If you want to get the system back in to boom, then consider bringing some of these items (whatever is being asked for on the Mission Boards) back from the bubble with you the next time you head back here.

I think that's how it works anyway.

Gotta say chaps, I'm getting a little antsy that all that chatter in this thread may draw the attention of those spiteful 'UA bombers' to this region and I'd hate for the system to get shut down a la Robigo. Perhaps we should consider 'going dark'? :x

Or am I just getting paranoid from too many lonely hours in the cold void? [wacko]

If you're going to use your conda for these runs don't forget sothis mining doesn't have a large landing pad! ;)

If this happens, it's simply another example of how "poor" minded some people playing this game are. They simply can't except that some people are not going down the path of eternal grind. They want you to go the same way they go and can't accept anything else and can't see that the gameplay Elite offers is pretty bad, repetitive and boring (it's improving since 2.1 *just mentioning*). But they want you to go through that because they "obey" the masters (FDey). Just low level brainers IMHO, like little kids moanin ... "but they are not allowed to get money that fast. miuuuuuuu! : ( ". Blaze your own trail? Yes, that's what we do here. So, please, leave us alone. If the game offers it, it's part of the trailblazer.

Where the hell do these people get all those UAs? I still haven't seen one before. Hell, I've only seen 2 barnacles since they started popping up.

Yep, thanks for the reminder. TBH, I've been getting pretty sweet missions from the two space ports and it almost makes turn around time a bit quicker not having to do the extra leg out to Sothis Mining. It is over 1,000Ls out after all! 😜

I may even have enough to get my Conda tonight I just realised. Not sure I'll be able to fully spec it out to my liking though with enough for at least a re-buy, so may still need to do another run in the Python.

Or I suppose I could buy it and just min spec it out and then just take it for a spin and try a planet landing or two just to get a feel for it. (Low gravity of course!)

Go for 2 or 3 x insurance! I almost lost my Conda while trying to leave the space port for the 1st time. I simply didn't get it through the mail slot. I wasn't used to the fact that you have to align the cockpit to the upper end of the slot as the conda has a lot of ship hanging down underneath your seat. The timer was ticking and the station was about to shoot at me when I finally managed it.

I D-rated the Conda. Spent 155 mio. credits.

I can tell you a spaceport where you get 15% discount so the Conda costs 124 mio. credits only! 10% discount on the equipment as well.

I had a similar experience making me think these stations had been nerfed. I have been doing these stations since the early days when everyone else was running Robigo. Definitely less on offer since the last update.

There is not enough on offer now to fill a Conda. This is definitely a change. Still ok for an Asp or Python though.

I have to agree tbh, I've 272t in my conda at the moment and its almost taking too long to fill. Think the only way is to take cargo for under 100k per T :|

Don't know if it's anything to do with UAs or if it's to do with the system going to war? Ceos has had a faction withdraw and sothis is at war now.. I don't really know how these states like boom, bust, war etc work but the missions have gone down hill since that started.

I did some missions for 46 mio. yesterday. I experienced that the missions that I got offered had a very high cargo demand. I got missions gor 9 or 10 mio. credits offered but they came with 180 tons of cargo or whatever. I switched from my ASP to a *brand new* :D Anaconda and I thought that this might be the reason why I don't get the nice 12 tons for 7.3 mio or 24 tons for 8.4 mio. credits runs anymore.

Two day ago a mission popped up again and again offering 1 ride from Sothis to Ceos for 7.8 mio. credits. Did it 6 or 7 times in a row until a CMDR interdicted me and tried to kill me. I'll check Ceoas/Sothis out tonight again.

Well it was pretty decent after the patch update, I was working on this for most part of the weekend on and off and only really noticed it Sunday night when the mission giver had disappeared, I filled my cargo holds with as much I could carry, dropped a couple of missions to pick up some better ones and made it home with a clear 57 million profit.

I know this is no where near the top end but I decided to get in, fill her up on 100,000k credits / tonne a quick as possible and leave, it does seem the 6 tonnes for 5 million are far and few between but work smarter and reduce your time at the two stations, if you break it down to an hourly rate it is probably not far off anyway with less time mode switching and landing... I think lol

do you not need a minimum jump range to get back full of cargo? i thought it was 20+ or is it doable with a 15LY laden range?

i.e should i take a clipper 15LY 212T

or Asp 23.75LY laden 108T

the asp can also go a lot further without re-fuelling..
