Thank you. Unfortunately it's only temporary, but I saw all the speculation and wanted to join in the fun while I have time (at least until, hopefully, the DLC is revealed)
Anyways, speaking of speculation, here's my addition to the speculation buffet:
The 2 packs we got in spring are/were both tropical themed (South America and Southeast Asia). We also (unless more has been revealed) have gotten hints about a capybara, hot springs, and the Lord Howe stick insect. "No duh, DarthQuell. What's your idea?"
My idea, my dear imaginary bully, is the following: another regional DLC, like the SEA pack. "Like what?"
I propose: the Central American animal pack
(Lots of commotion in the imaginary audience). "Quell, Quell, Quell, are you insane?!"
Yes, very much so.
"But why? What could male you possibly think of that?"
Well, consider this: a place that people want is more American animals, right? And we already got a tropical theme for SA. What about Central America? We don't need a theme, just animals.
Interestingly, we have some solid choices:
- Giant anteater
- Baird's tapir
- White-faced capuchin
- Jaguar
- Puma/Cougar/+38 other names
What's next? Well, we have some more great choices for there, such as:
- The highly versatile white-tailed deer
- Any coati species
- The beautiful ocelot
- The adorable kinkajou
- A huge variety of monkeys
And that's just scratching the surface of habitat animals that are asked for. Don't forget the multitudes of small animals (no spiders, please. I just found out I have a mild arachnophobia, and playing Grounded didn't help). Snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles (hey, they can even stretch a bit and include Mexico into the mix, giving us the
axolotl).
What about animals that'll be nice to have, but not really asked for?
- Coyote
- Cacomistle
- Raccoon
So, my prediction for a 2022 spring DLC is a Central American animal pack, which'll flesh out the New World and a chance we get the cute
capybara
(stupid autocorrect keeps changing "capybara" into "Canada")
