I love my South-east Asian dwarf bovines but the tamaraw is not found in zoos at the moment. Instead, we could go with the lowland anoa, which would also be a great species to mix with the babirusa:Who here would like a Tamaraw?

I agree I think the watusi would do very well in the game and add something new to the African ungulates roster.
I’ve gotten really close to these guys in an encounter I did at the Toronto zoo and it was definitely worth it!
I love the appeal of the comically large horns, highland cow have normal looking longhorns but some ankole cows are on another level. Would make a nice contrast to the existing set of bovines ingame.

I do not need nor want any more bovines… but I also wouldn’t dislike the inclusion of the African forest buffalo if we had another year left. Is it anywhere near essential? Hell no. Would I take it over any bird, monkey, Latin American species, or even a new habitat reptile? Also hell no. Is it silly though? Hell yes.

Whether or not I'd be ok with another bovine is sorta similar for me, it's mainly a question of how many DLCs we have left. If we've got another year or so? Yeah sure, another one wouldn't hurt and I've got a strange fondness for many tropical bovine species (anoa, banteng, forest buffalo etc). Just one more pack? No thanks, there are way higher priorities.
I've seen people mentioning an IRL inspired pack for finale. If that's the case, you guys are missing out their very first collaborator;

Oh yeah...I saw your posts before. Well guess it's high time to face the music.
If there is one bovine I would like it would be the Gaur. Cool India rep, and after seeing it at the Bronx zoo I’ve wanted them ingame.
Please, enough with the making DLCs based on real zoos. We need an Aviary Expansion because we need more flying birds.

Let's start with a flying bird, got to start somewhere. But I still don't think an actual aviary expansion is going to happen (that zoochat singapore aviary 'leak' was probably a troll), let alone what half of us seem to want for a final pack. Make an around the world or south american dlc with a bird or 2, maybe make one of them flying so then the rig exists for modders to work their magic.
At this point im not even sure if i want them to put an aviary bird in the final DLC.
In the past i always were of the opinion that a few are better than none and if we would have a full year of DLCs ahead of us id say sure bring them on, 4 birds atleast something to work with even if its not much.
But with just 1 DLC left? IDK man just 1 seems just kinda sad.
I think id prefer if they kept it at a normal exhibit and put the work into the habitat animals instead

Wouldn’t that be funny if true, after all this time we finally get flying birds. But it’s just a bird, we all have 1 eagle to share.
Phew, finally! I actually wanted to avoid this type of thread in the future, since they just go around in circles anyway, but since this seems to be the last pack, I've been digging through all the 130 pages for the last few days... wasn't funny tbh
I still hope that this isn't the last pack and that Frontier continues to make content. But I also see the writing on the wall and therefore see it realistically.
It makes me a little sad that I probably won't be able to enjoy having my favorite animal in the game. The walrus.
So many animals that are important for the game are missing (pelicans, ducks, mara, rheas, baboon...), instead we have picks that just feel even more strange now than before.
But well, it is what it is.
One can only hope that our final pack has a reasonable selection. Maybe some kind of World Zoo Pack.
(And I really hope we will get the theme maker tool kit... I need car probs! I'm the master of Planet Parking Lot, giv meh Cars!)
