That's my first instinct too! However, there are some Central American animals that could range into NA. Being from North America, I don't think of it as exotic...

Im split on an NA pack. Could be cool as a scenery pack but it gotta have atleast a bird in form of the wild turkey or ideally a duck and the porcupine for me to be interested in the animal side of it. There are a few cool animals id like from NA, but its mostly those kinds of animals Frontier wouldnt put in the pack.
Black bear i kinda warmed up to because a brown variation would essentially be an official brown bear remaster which id enjoy.
But thats provided its not the last pack. Because ending support on an NA pack this week? Get outta here

Porupine, opossum, black footed ferret, alligator snapper, turkey, wood and mallard, spoonbill, canada goose, roadrunner, puffin, artic hare/jackrabbit, pelican

I'm American so I completely agree it wouldn't be cool to end on NA, unless Frontier could add Wild Turkey and some animals from the extreme south (i.e. Central America). I'm interested in NA yet its the pretty much the very last continent that needs animals IMO...
Right after the Eurasia pack I assumed next would be North America 2.0 (not knowing the next could be the last) and at the time I was like ok this could be decent - but now after spending all this time looking at other species from across the globe, it would be such a fat disappointment. The only animals that would have me interested would be a pelican or a rabbit, everything else is just kinda eh. Sure the scenery would probably be decent, but I really don't wanna see things like the Walrus, Musk Ox, ABB, Sea Otter, Turkey, Roadrunner etc. and I'm from North America for reference and I still don't really have interest in any of the missing animals here. I would honestly rather a South American Scenery Pack than a 3rd North America Pack giving creatures that are very similar niche to ones we already have (bear, elk, walrus, musk ox). I'll be pretty let down if all this time it was a NA pack in the works.
I agree that North America seems more like Wildlife Park Simulator than Zoo Building Game...
What do you mean?
I don't go to the zoo to see most North American animals. I'd hope to see them out in the wilderness instead.

Yeah but that could be said about every single animal. To people in india monkeys are those roadkill and garbage eating backyard animals that racoons and skunks are to americans
It's impressive that the "i see this animal a lot in the wild irl, hence i don't want it" argument only show up when NA/Europe animals or domestics are being discussed.
Like i see seriemas and toucans almost everyday, and stuff like coatis and maned wolves regularly, but this never made me want then less, quite the opposite (and i'm prety sure that if i say something like it, i would be crucify).

Pretty sure there are is a similar percentage of people with this opinion everywhere. But i guess the fact that the majority of people here are from NA and europe makes its seem that way as if thats only the case for NA/eu animals
To be clear I don’t want a North America pack not because I can find some of the animals in the wild but simply cause I don’t think they are that interesting in general on a global aspect and don’t provide much to the roster we have. Only 2 exceptions to this are a rabbit and a pelican - and if I have to wait another 3 months for my baboon- 
You'd be surprised about how often that isn't true.
It's the difference between seeing a hedgehog snuffling through your garden or a fox with its nose in the trash and seeing a wolf chasing an elk through untamed woods. One is undoubtedly more awe-inspiring.
In any event if we got North America 2 I'd place a curse on everyone who asked for it. Hands down the worst possible decision Frontier could make IMO.

Every animal is somebodies local animal and therefore not exotic or zoo material to them, thats all i was saying

Also, as someone who lives on southern Brazil, what @Marvinb said is pretty much true, when a chicken disappear in my grandpa farm we just say it was "the animal" because we don't have any idea if it was eaten by a bird-of-prey, a maned wolf, a otter or even a cougar, and the situation isn't better in other part's of Brazil with cougars and anacondas invading houses, jaguars killing cattle, coatis stealling eggs and otters invading lakes in city's to eat carps. The situation is worse in other country's, such as SEA and they growing problem with elephants.
