For me, I would like to see these new additions in a PZ2 for the species you have listed:

I would honestly just be overwhelmed and annoyed by all the subspecies that basically all look the same
I'd laugh if it's planet coaster for the switch.
That report is new or was from months ago?

Just my own take, but I'd personally be fine with 1 more of each kind of animal. I truly do not want 3 giraffes or 3 lions...just want to have a choice that's not 1 or none.
Then there's otters. I'll take all the otters they wanna bring me.

Just to point out, the american is the caribbean. I would add Chilean flamingo to add another pink flamingo with more south american representation.

Yeah, the only issue is the business report mentions this new platform release would be in the financial year 24 and add to revenue contributions- so latest by May 2024.

Plus a tonne of brown bears. Eurasian, Grizzly, Himalayan. Give me ALL the choices in Planet Zoo 2!!! Wisent and American Plains Bison again would be a win
I wouldn't get too excited by this, none of us picked it up as a true hint back in November when the report was extensively discussed. Its one of 2 things: the summer dlc is a final expansion pack for the game with a console release or planet zoo support continues and another platform is getting a release of an already established game which doesn't bother us in the slightest.
I think its not really fair to groups the otters in with the others. Yeah the NA, eurasian and small clawed are very similar, but the sea and giant otter are vastly different animals.
Also arent amur and siberian tiger and amercian and caribbean flamingo the same thing?
yeah that sounds about right for PZ2. For PZ I still hope for a second giraffe, preferably Masai. And just in case it wasn't clear the first time, as many otters as they wanna put in the game. Otters are like my favorite "type" of animals. It's ironic then that the one they put in first was literally at the bottom of how I'd rank them..
Likewise a PZ addition of the others I keep mentioning - Lion, Zebra, Flamingo, would be great.
But for PZ, no need for another Elephant but it could work for PZ2, same for a third tiger, Zebra, Lion or Flamingo. Though 2 would ultimately be enough for me really.
Bears are a whole different thing though. 2 Brown Bears would be fine, which we have now, I still just want the EBB since the HBB is sooooo specific. 2 Black Bears would also be enough but it's another case of the ABB being an iconic American species that's not covered by the FBB, the Sloth Bear, or the Sun Bear, the last two of which are pretty unique looking anyways. Polar bears and Spectacled Bears offer something visually and locale/biome wise that none of the other species offer.
Then there's the Crocodilians. There's a lot to discuss there all I know is that I definetely do not want a third caiman in PZ, and that the only other Crocodilian I'd actively like to have added in would be the Nile Crocodile.

To me, I think we need the Black Caiman in the game since I think we need another reptile that's bigger than the American Alligator.
