Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

while a caecilian would be good to increase amphibian diversity that is possibly the worst choice for a south american exhibit animal it has a long heavily descriptive name, to the average person it looks like a worm most people have no idea what a caecilian is and there are so many better amphibian choices for tropical south america.
We don’t need more South American frogs and I’d like to see a caecilian. They’re distinctive amphibians and it’s something new to the game.

New SA exhibit option? Easy one.

I want a sloth that's actually kept in zoos! I don't even use the brown-throated sloth because I can't stand how unrealistic it is, especially for smaller, low budget parks.
Would you really have another sloth, which would only have very minor differences with the current sloth, and more likely than not be an identical clone with minor cosmetic differences...

Take the place of any of the many south American monkey species? The mara? Coatimundi? Peccary? Manatee? The list of animals South America has to offer is very long. And I'd rather any of them than another sloth, which would be a copy paste.
It would be different if South America was as filled in as Africa, then I could maybe understand wanting another sloth for variety. But this is not the case.

I dont really need another sloth either but to be fair it wouldnt compete with any of the mentioned animals since its an exhibit species

Reading this knowing the sloth would be an exhibit animal not a habitat animal, but I'm also picturing that that's how we'd get a Manatee, in an exhibit.

Sorry, it was just a funny image and I had to share.

Yes. Better than true clones such as ungulates and carnivorans.
this is a wild statement how is another sloth a better than a "true clone" which you specified by listing whole orders of animals which for carnivora includes everything from seals to cats and ungulates which is 2 separate orders covers a huge range of animals including tapir, rhino, antelope and mouse deer.

I’m totally good with only one sloth especially the most recognizable one with the cute factor. For me sloth is made beautifully and works just fine especially in mixed exibits with capuchins.

I understand some people still want the more common in western zoos option. So I hope that if there would be another sloth it’s going to be for anniversary or something.
