Who knows. This is Frontiers we're talking. They always catch us by surprise by any means possible, even with the Eurasia Animal Pack. It's not entirely impossible for them to go back to back on another animal pack if they're releasing in May. Having said that, they could get around a scenery pack if they have something in store to back it up like an immense free update.

Frontier would need to tread carefully to avoid steroetypes. Best case would be generic horizontal log building set + commissioned art from indigenious artists incorporated into placeable objects.

I'm a bit worried about that, honestly. Best case is that they work with indigenous artists wherever possible.
Since we don't have much to go off of for a spring scenery pack, I'm holding out for Alpine at the moment. I just don't think Frontier will go 9 months between scenery packs. The builders would rightfully lose their minds. This is where I hope Frontier will listen and give an animal pack for Latin America. There are simply too many species that are essential to be added in a scenery pack.
I think that's what they did with Australia.
I think next two packs are already decided, and the spring one maybe even in early development, so maybe a bit late for listening now.
Thankfully, South America animal pack was on everyone's mind since Animal packs were a concept, so I'm pretty positive we're good on that front
Yeah, the sun bear was already in development before the Aquatic Pack came out, so I'm sure it's already decided and in early development. I'm just going to be really disappointed if this Latin America pack is a scenery pack and not an animal pack.

We have Eurasia right now. I see so many directions that future packs could go. I know it might seem out of place but I think we might get taiga next! We had a mostly warm themed line up this year so I think we will get a cooler themed year with one big warm climate pack.

I agree there are no more build sets obviously missing but there is still so much just random stuff we need such as staff object, artworks, fuse boxes and other things.At this point, apart from more wood pieces like horizontal log/plank walls and more modernistic glass/stainless steel structures for aviaries and terrariums, I think we got enough building pieces to get around with, unless we get more customisable props. So potentially, log cabin sets and museum sets, and terrarium/ aviary sets. Any more to add to the idea so that we could speculate a pack around it?
Yeah we need more artworks in general as well as murals they are great wall space filler
replace tundra with antartica with the same scenery
replace safari with a desert pack
and mountain pack with tundra.
also love the idea of a museum focused pack

You made a pack called ethiopia animal pack inspired by zoo tycoon and you didnt include the animal with ethiopia in its name. Also never being in captivity hasnt stopped frontier before and shouldnt stop them now we literally have an animal ingame that we dont even know what its babies look like.
Also based on the zoochat thread you linked the only known reason they arent in zoos is politics so not really a justifiable reason to ommit them as an ingame possibility. Also the idea that ethiopia isnt loaning the wolves out because they ecotourism is even more of a reason they should be in the game since people seeing them in the game will bring exposure and may lead to more people visiting and contributing to ethiopia because of it.

Just a general headsup (to everyone), the Spring DLC is always released in the week of Easter. This has been consistent for Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo.
So if we get a pack next year, we'll have to see something announced by the 19th of March, as Easter is the 31th of March.
or they could shake things up again like they did for this pack who knows, but yeah those dates are the most likely
