Really exciting ideas of:So assuming we got support throughout 2024 with a final pack in spring 2025, what themes would yall pick for this year?
Not saying it happens, just curios
Basically yeah although instead of domestics i prefer Coastal or Polar.Really exciting ideas of:
Feels familar
- Latin america with a tropical rainforest theme
- Warm weather animals with a desert theme or african theme - maybe a safari pack
- Overly themed pack no one expects like domestics
- Himalayas/mountain pack

Spring- woodlands scenery pack. Log cabin scenery with North America focused rosterSo assuming we got support throughout 2024 with a final pack in spring 2025, what themes would yall pick for this year?

Well i mean themes with a full roster are okay toYesss was waiting for this conversation to come up,
For Spring, a Coastal Pack featuring the mighty Walrus, the expert fisher Brown Pelican, adorable Sea Otter, tiny Atlantic Puffin and the tiny and mighty Coconut Crab. Comes with coastal scenery (beach themed)
For Summer, a Latin America Animal Pack with the exact roster I posted earlier, the spectacular Spectacled Bear, the elusive Ocelot, brightly coloured Golden Lion Tamarin, swift South American Coati, tree trekking Black handed Spider monkey, powerful Greater Rhea, high climbing Vicuña and the rainforest expert, Emerald Tree Boa.
For Fall, an Alpine Pack with mountain and Himalayan scenery, with an animal roster of the adorably grumpy Pallas Cat, scavenging Gelada, high climbing Markhor, Japanese Giant Salamander and the unique Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby.
For Winter, a Scrublands Animal Pack, an animal pack focused on semi arid bushlands type environments. The packs roster consists of the powerful Secretary Bird, vocal Hamadryas Baboon, scavenging Honey Badger, odd Gerenuk, the beast himself Southern Ground Hornbill, unique Arabian Oryx, elusive Serval as well as the intimating King Cobra.
Edit: My bad, didn’t realize it was just the themes you were looking for lol
Scrublands/Savannah/Safari is also one of my most wanted themes. Really like the roster although id change the baboon and oryx for an indian antelope and monkeyYesss was waiting for this conversation to come up,

Spring DLC: Bird dlcSo assuming we got support throughout 2024 with a final pack in spring 2025, what themes would yall pick for this year?

Both GSNM & GLT.
Most likely thing to happen it looks like since frontier is tied up with the console release currently. Since the steamdb still hasn't seen an update, march is out of the question.
OH COME ON! I ALREADY PUT A DOWN PAYMENT ON HULA DANCE LESSONS!IF THEY RELEASE THE DLC WITH THE CONSOLE, SCREENSHOT THIS, BECAUSE I'LL MAKE A VIDEO AND DRESS IN DRAG AND DO THE HULA!!!!!!
Perhaps you could be a bit more constructive in your criticism. Personally I thought the Eurasia pack was brilliant.Besides that not only that but Eurasia and Arid are probably worst animal packs out there. And worst of all, it wasn't even hard to make them good, they just decided to be lame.
I loved both the Arid and Eurasia packs. And packs are selling worse than before because of the high ticket animals that were missing from the game originally have already been added. There's nothing left to add to the game that's going to match the general appeal of things like the capybara, platypus, otters, emu, wallaby, etc. A game like this is always going to have a shelf life because at a certain point you have added all of the animals people care about. It's fine if you found the packs good but it is clear given how they sell less that they aren't as appealing, and it's not really that difficult to see why. While wetlands, grasslands, etc. had odd arguably "odd" picks they compensated with pretty outstanding newcomers. Meanwhile 2023 all consistently have a pick that everyone agrees should have been something else.

In essence i agree, although i think there still are some like the walrus for example.I loved both the Arid and Eurasia packs. Except for a god damn baboonThere's nothing left to add to the game that's going to match the general appeal of things like the capybara, platypus, otters, emu, wallaby, etc.
