I'm pretty sure it's a version of the game made for reviewing, i.e., CCs can check out the update and dlc ahead of time and prepare videos for it

Seems Reasonable. Probably A Smaller Update Like Nile Monitor Deep-diving Or Artic Fox And African Penguin Using The Burrow.
