Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

C'mon y'all, how can y'all not love this face?

Personally, I doubt that this is the last DLC, because as a rule, the last packages were bigger/expensive and all.... wow
Here, however, the scenery items are understandable regarding the theme.... and 7 animals instead of 8....
It is known it would be nice to have a duck and a rabbit also.... However, there are all representatives... chicken, goat, sheep, cow, donkey, pig....
Alpaca is something else....
I'm curious to see what's hidden in the update 🙈

Probably nothing... Even though I hope for something...

EDIT: I will post Antimony's comment here instead. He articulated my thoughts on this pack way better
In a vacuum I like this pack, though I'm not a fan of the specific breed selections (too European--would have liked the goat to be an African breed and the pig to be something like the kunekune). The new update sounds cool too, and the pieces will be great. Petting zoos are an important part of most real zoos.

In practice, if this really is the final pack, it's extremely disappointing. Zero new rigs, nothing at all from the meta-wishlist. Not much else to say other than that we'll get more clarification on Wednesday.

Somehow it doesn’t scream final pack although there are more animals than usual so who knows…

As I said in the announcement thread, I get that some people are disappointed but I hate to break it to them, this is entirely subjective.

For me it’s a great pack with great breeds and it’s perfect for my current main zoo project.

Can I just suggest people frame their disappointment in a slightly more constructive way rather than throwing their toys out of the pram?

The only two animals in this pack that I don't have any gripes with are the chicken and the donkey, and even then I'm far from excited about either of them

The closest thing about this pack to being exciting is that it's our fourth bird in a row, but even that's hard to fully appreciate when you consider how much more fun and versatile a duck or turkey would've been (over the alpaca, ideally)

Yea if anything, the update for this pack is probably going to be pretty good because of the interactions. I'm hoping this spreads to a few of the other animals in game (at the very least the llama and camels I'm sure will get it).

Still confused about the breed picks though, seems very UK centric which I get its a British company but I'm also from the UK and think it feels a little out of touch with the wider community. Why not the dwarf goat, Cameroon sheep, pot-belly pig? Seems a bit odd. The Highland cattle at the very least is a very popular breed and the donkey and chicken look basic enough anyway.

Overall I'm pretty happy but if they replaced say the sheep and donkey with a rabbit and a duck would anyone be that upset over those two being missing.

I don't know who mentioned it before, but Chinese players make up the majority.
And now,Not a single player community in China is happy

Lemur is getting one...
It is literally just one special animation for possibly all animals with guest coming close to it and bends down.

I agree. Instead of the donkey, I personally would've gone with a domestic horse, actually. The pig, of they were gonna choose an iconic pig, why not the standard pink pig everybody knows and loves?

But besides that, it's not the end of the world for me, and I have a feeling we're getting more support, just the packs won't be so fancy as before

Ah good to see the forum hasn't changed with roughly 75 percent hating domestics. While it may not be monkeys or popular metawishlist animals, its great to see frontier chooses between the greater community favourites and the niche metawishlist animals. Domestics have been a long awaited addition to essential realistic zoo building which I will gladly utilise in my recreations.

Seeing it's priced 7.99 like the other packs on the bottom of the forum post, I think it's safe to say this is a "normal" pack, seeing it's not the expected price, or scale really, from a finale pack (7 animals of existing sets, low scenery).

I think it might be warranted to start the "Summer" pack speculation thread, if only to escape this reality.

Can we not have dramatic posts about killing ourselves please? It’s beyond inappropriate.
Sorry it was distastefull. I apologize for that.

But yeah i'm beyond dissapointed. Highland cow and alpaca are the only ones i'm kind of interested on.

Very few pieces so i assume it is supposed to be mostly an animal pack. Depending on the pieces i might get this pack or not but deffinetly not at launch.

If this is the last pack i literally want to cry.
