I don’t know how many times it needs to be said but ain’t no way kiwi makes this game. It’s the size of a football and moves like a snail, most zoo exhibits for kiwis are basically vivariums like our exhibits with CCTV to actually see the damn things as they just sleep and hide. Everyone hyped them but functionally they’ve got no chance vs other larger terrestrial birds..

So you’ve got an islands pack, which probably has to be an animal pack given how many tropical/islandy scenery sets we now have, what do you pick? Seven slots? We may get tree kangaroo and almost certainly the Tassie but I’m not sure I’m which pack. Really this was probably the Tree Kangaroo’s place to be…

We got the Platypus. I do not see a reason why there should be no way for them to come to the game.

I have to say... when I saw the Sloth Sign I just freaked out, but I have to say I'm not really happy with the species choice, this species doesn't common at all and It's just make useless.. but I'm still SO happy to get Sloth and I hope in the future we will get the Linnaeus's Two-Toed Sloth because that is my fav species of sloth. but still probably the sloth probably is my fav animal in the pack. I really love how the Red River Hog looks and I really excited about them! the Fossa also probably one of my fav in the Pack, I can't wait to see it! and Lar Gibbon and Asian Water Monitor are okay, I love how the Lar gibbon looks and the fact that it doesn't brachiate on the enrichment item it makes me SO freaking happy, I hope the Siamang will do that too! and the Asian Water Monitor really okay I'm happy to get another reptile even though I probably prefer to get tortoise but still great and can't wait to see the full reveal of it! the scenery looks really good! the new plants looks AMAZING!
so overall really love this Pack there are some upside stuff like the fact the Lar Gibbon doesn't brachiate on the enrichment item and there are some downside stuff like the Sloth Species choice! but still love this pack, not my fav probably but probably in my top 5! also frontier really look on the Meta-Wishlist with this pack like Red River Hog, Lar Gibbon and Fossa are in top 10! if the Sloth been the Linnaeus's it probably been one of the best dlcs we ever got and it been my fav pack for sure!

I find the Three-Toed Sloth to be the epitomy of sloths : in pop culture, in comics, animes etc, sloths emojis all represent the Bradypus variegatus... Two-Toed Sloths are easier to keep in captivity but are not the quintessential sloth species for me.

Eh, rainforest is still an option, as is temperate, river, Amazon (as you mentioned) swamp ect. Who knows maybe they'll one day just straight up do a monkey pack. I don't feel like Islands is dead just because the fossa is out of that line up.

That's probably why frontier chose the three toed, while the forum may want the two toed more every single reference to sloths especially to the general audience (which is funding the dlc content) is the three toed

If only this was a game about keeping animals in captivity and not a game about making animal cartoons and emojis 😉

Worth to mention three-toed sloth was present in frontier's zoo game from 2013. Together with fossa frontier included almost everything from that game.

They differ a lot. But sizewise, most of reptiles don't make a lot of sense as habitat animals except crocodilians and varanids, hence why we might find them a bit redundant, but I wish we had more reptiles in game. I wish we had bigger exhibits and more snakes, iguanas, geckos and lizards.

Ok pretty solid line up and it doesn't invalidate the islands or woodlands pack. Once again no bird in a pack that would've been perfect for them.

I called the sloth being a exhibit animal and i think is perfect for it.

The asian wster monitor is a nice surprise though and the rest of roster are all highly requested animals ( even if my choice for a primate would've been a new world monkey but alright)

Also the building pieces look awesome and i'm excited for the New foliage.

Oh and did you guys noticed the gibbon brachiating on the vives!!! No more ugly metal pieces.

I don’t think river or swamp are realistically going to be DLCs given aquatic and wetlands both exist to fill those niches. I hope we do get another ‘tropical’ DLC but that’s exactly it, if we get an ‘Amazon’ DLC or whatever it really is just gonna be ‘tropical pack 2’ or ‘South America Pack 2’ with a different name. The theme is gonna be that different is it?

i just wish they would have changed their formula and give more animals in packs.
I knew y’all were gonna rage if the sloth type was not the one you wanted and will still campaign for another sloth type in the future. I personally don’t care and I’m glad they didn’t take up a habitat spot
African rainforest hasn’t gotten anything in awhile so Il glad we got the RRH
SEA usually gets the most attention so I’m bummed that SA doesn’t get a habitat
