SRV Animations - "Frontier" concept video

Ok, I never realized exit is at front.

Also....jeez, how much prototyping and animation testing they do that aren't included in the game? No wonder why they are so...slow :D

Or this is ISOKIX work? :)

Nice find. Another thing with SRVs is that the turret specifically engages telepresence (i.e. drive mode means your pilot is physically present), which, together with the above video, suggests SRVs are already prepped to work with space legs.

Actually in a way, this is in the game. There's one story to be found of a guy who first lost, then abandoned his SRV. So there's one SRV with open canopy somewhere in the Pleiades.
.
Next to that, i just chalk this off as "preparation for space legs, whenever we get that".

Yes, it seems to be full animation test to for futureproofing. Also I suspect that chair doesn't come out that way, it is just to show rest of anitmations of folding controls - which we saw in reverse in Krait 3.1 update trailer.

Nice concept but overly complicated. Why on earth wouldn't a sensible designer just put a door on the side of the SRV cockpit?

Anyhoo...concepts are nice an' all but I can bet there's a shedload of them lying on the cutting room floor at FDev already [yesnod]
