No but you see, flying through on-screen indicators not to get a game-over is time-honoured and proven gameplay that the game is missing at the moment. I'm sure it will work out much better since, as always, it has never been done before.The ONLY SINGLE use for that kind of corridor effect would be for atmospheric landings to give you a guide - similar to current glide in ED - to show you the best entry angle to avoid heat damage. Not restricting the angle just a guide for atmos entry.
