I got a free one so I'm not complaining, I paid 175 quid for the Saitek one
For that kinda cash though, I'd go for a Warthog...only downside is you need pedals too, no sidewinder twisty thing

I'm pretty new to the game, but even i can see things he's misinformed about. eg: you can see remaining quantum and regular fuel on the main HUD. Other complaints are much the same in Elite, like lack of direct control in Supercruise is the same as QT.
Dunno i may try and finish watching later, but not overly impressed.
Really though i think people should enjoy a game for what it offers, it's only because some games appear to cross-over on each other alot where one could ponder if this or that feature would work in the other game. If a CEO said a feature would be in a game, and not delivered, thats fine to complain about, and then look and see if the competition offer it.
Right now, with current live states, my ideal game would pull bits from Elite, SC, Valheim, NMS, Star Wars Squadrons, etc so all i can do is choose to spend my time on the game which offers the most with what i feel like at the moment.
When he mentioned loot as " fulfilling exploration base promise " - that set off a massive amount of red flags.
And then watching leaves and talking about fires - yea, they have no intention of ever finishing this game for release, this is just dust in the eyes.
Seriously why do people keep giving them 50+ millions each year - this makes zero sense to me.
Because when top people at CIG say "imagine what you could do with thruster exhaust..." some people do just that, while simultaneously opening their wallets. Seriously, most game developers are satisfied with faking Dust in the Wind. CIG insists on going one step further... with predictable results.
Seems every Elite Commander under the sun is trying to outdo each other by posting alternatively SC is good/SC is bad videos...sounds about right
Seriously though, for all these seemingly interested/disinterested but primarily ED content creators desperately seeking a Star Citizen soapbox all of their own, they should stick to making videos about what they like and what they know about...not get all out of sorts producing nonsensical content of what they think other folk may like to hear, even when the content creator knows or understands very little about what he/she is talking about.
It's about time some of them stopped trying to be Mr. Popular and seem all informed when they really aren't... just play the game...or just don't

I'm not sure what you think he said that is incorrect that isn't opinion, but its clear he has played the game and that's how he formed his opinion.

And it is no surprise this 3rd rate yamiks has 100 subs. the video is laughably bad. He was flying a bunch a ships though, like to the tune of $500, so I thank you for supporting the project citizen!

Ok, so he got something wrong. And its quite understandable. Its not exactly easy to see. He probably got some other things wrong as well.

Don't forget these content creators make videos trying to get clicks and grow their channels. He doesn't necessarily believe the stuff he is saying, in fact he might actually like star citizen. He is just trying to get views and it has clearly worked with you. Looks like he has found his niche audience.
And we can't discount the very real possibility he was paid to make the video. I hear content creators are frequently paid shills and don't see why this particular channel would escape that scrutiny.
