Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

I don't think i've ever seen any other game focused YouTuber title videos like "A Call of Duty Player Plays Battlefield" and then milk it for months. But maybe they have.
I imagine it's twofold:

1- she has a (new & enthusiastic) audience who are interested in her SC content, some in particular attracted by the angle. Elite no, SC yes.
2- that audience know the formulation of words and use them to search and recognise the brand. Don't mess with what works!

Looks like that rumour has been shot down:

Still be interesting to see if it gets mentioned at CitizenCon

Sorry, are we now believing anything Zyloh says?

Zyloh "I played through all of SQ42 in 2016"? That Zyloh?

I'll wait and see what they actually release.

PS: It could actually be both. For PC it will be a mode of SC. For console, a standalone game.

Hah, from that thread:

Someone poses some questions, including

6. Does ToW use the same engine as SC?

And someone responds

6) Now this is just a ridiculous question, yes of course it does, along with all the tools, assets, etc etc. It is completely illogical to think they are magically using another engine for it.

I really want to know if ToW really is done with Unreal.

I’ll cut the guy some slack… he is just an employee and will say what management told him to say!

Even if he knows ToW is a separated mode he has to play its role a do his job!

Like that Autodesk employee that once told EagleCAD community that Autodesk didn’t had plans to put the software under subscription after they bought it from Cadsoft..
