I don't know, what i do know is Port Olisar was still the only space station in 3.0, don't forget all the other space stations and planets were added during to course of 3.# patches.

Hurston in 3.3.5
ArcCorp in 3.5
Space Stations in 3.6
MicroTech in 3.8
Orison as it is now in 3.14
There were multiple space stations prior to 3.0, and along with Port Olisar were all added in 2.0.

Cry Astro, was removed in 3.3

Covalex Shipping Hub, still there

ICC Scanhub, was removed in 3.0

And a bunch of Comm Array satellites, still there

It's just so funny how PO, as the oldest hub, is held up as one of the most functional and pleasingly laid out locations.

And now it's going to be de-improved ;)
Not at all the most functional. There is no hospital in it (too small to get one), you can't make it your spawn point.

SC Kareah as well, it was one of the original orbitals over at Cellin, still there...new and improved seemingly :)

I actually 3D printed something useful today...in a change from the toilet roll holders and self watering plant pots my missus has had me firing out...

Are you designing them yourself or are the stls available somewhere?
ThingiVerse is where I go browsing for most of my stl's...they have practically everything of a printable size ever made out of plastic plus some really cleverly designed unique stuff, all for free... and all with the benefit that someone else has already done the tedious work of creating a 3D cad file with detailed printing instructions ...just load it up into Cura or similar slicing software and fire up the printer. I may get to designing stuff at some point but that's not really my area of interest. :)

Are you printing in those spiffy corn starch plastic, ABS or something else?
I tried to do some lightclips for my bicycle years ago but most plastic were really brittle. I think I need either ABS or nylon for durable parts.

PETG (recycled plastic) is a bit more flexible, harder wearing and has a higher temperature rating than standard plant based PLA. Like ABS or nylon though, it takes a lot of faffing about with temps on the printing bed and a metal print head with tungsten or hardened steel nozzles to get a decent print quality...PETG needs higher printing temps than PLA, similar to ABS, but the payoff is worth it in the end by being less brittle than PLA and not as expensive as ABS or nylon filament.

We have a plastic recycling thing on the island...takes all the waste plastic and through recently buying a filament making machine, upcycles it back into reels of PETG, which is a lot cheaper for us than buying our filament online... the machine has long since paid for itself by reselling our own plastic rubbish back to those of us with 3D printers :D

All the waste plastic? Or some types only?
