Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

So today I logged in to do some peaceful trade route, nothing fancy, took a big Herc for the mission and headed to outpost.
Landed, all is good and shiny! And then when I was ready to re- enter the elevator - some guy in his premium painted Cutlass flew in and lifted my ship
I think - lag!
But there he is again, lifted my ship when I was grabbing the elevator so I fell off.

We did it a few more times, and finally I got to hit the big platform button and crawled in the Herc.
At this point, quick decision - ram the guy with all the Herc might and glory as he landed and took off to the shelter.

And I did - boom, Cutlass in pieces, guy stranded with no ship, lost premium paint.

Tip of the day - do not lift the Herc!

good server fps, but they aint doing anything
Scrolling through...didn't see him, or not yet anyway. He'd be there though. Ahh, spotted...talking to Viper. A few in our org of star citizen old farts are avocados :)

Weren't they originally going to destroy Olisar when Jesus patch 3.0 launched?...

I can remember all the weird radio traffic at Olisar with one of the later 'Destroy Olisar' scenarios they considered then ditched. First time Xenothreat was ever mentioned :)

I don't know, what i do know is Port Olisar was still the only space station in 3.0, don't forget all the other space stations and planets were added during to course of 3.# patches.

Hurston in 3.3.5
ArcCorp in 3.5
Space Stations in 3.6
MicroTech in 3.8
Orison as it is now in 3.14

In 2.0 all we had was PO, The old Crusader which persisted until this landable version, its Moons Celin, Yela and Daymar, none of which you could land on.

The first landable moon that had a city of sorts was actually Delemar, the moon that's from and now back in Nyx, that was 3.0, along with the 3 now landable Crusader moons.

3.0 is where it changed from the original pitch to this new one, 2.0 was the original game. That's why people say development on this game started in 2017.
