As much as sales within the classic events are also higher year on year, the jump in sale events from 2020 on certainly tallies with the striking leap in 'pledges'...
(NB there are other promotions throughout the year, those are just the big ones).

Maybe he could hoooold a bit for later this year when Chris markets to the Starfield audience. There might be a decent number of suckers buying up the grey market trying to get in good on a late start.
I don't think there is a lot of overlap. The janitor career isn't enough to pull RPG fans.
