Liking the top-comment sass under the latest needless vehicle sales video

I don't think that's all of it though, and a lesson ED should learn. The other space games launched at the same time are both more successful than ED; one is an eternal alpha, the other is a cartoony game that had such a bad launch it became a meme and the poster boy for overhype. ED despite being an actual game with a solid launch ED now sits on the 3rd step of the podium. And I think the answer why is in that post - ED is just not a good person scale game.
I disagree. Sure, Elite isn't perfect and I'm not saying your points are entirely invalid in the scope of the game as it stands, but there's a reason why there's so much back and forth between Elite & Star Citizen communities to the point where I would seriously suggest that if Star Citizen had never kickstarted, Elite would not be in the situation you ascribe to inherent faults, and less likely, but still possible that NMS may never have recovered from their atrocious launch to the level that they have (and good on them). But back to Star Citizen, I would say that the Venn Diagram between Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen is almost just a straight up circle. There are Star Citizen players who I've seen posit that the existence of Elite is one of the things that's caused Star Citizen to fail so hard over the years. We know that's pure cope, but conversely, I would suggest that the opposite is true, Elite Dangerous has suffered significantly due to the disruptive nature of the Star Citizen boondoggle.

Welcome back Asp! You're just in time for lap 42 around the verse ;)

In line with the 'year of stability', CIG have hurried out a buggy ship sale patch, as usual...

The Unofficial Wipe:

So i bought the harbinger months ago with in game credits, and its been deleted but yet other ships that I bought with in game credits are there. This is the 2nd time a update has done this, is there not a fix or workaround for this? Does cig not know what they are doing with persistence? Getting tired of grinding just to have my hard earned credits go to waste. Meanwhile, the pledge store never has problems :/
Edit: i stored the ship and pulled parts off it before I logged out yesterday. Last time this happened I messaged cig and they pretty much just said I was out of luck and they are aware of persistence issues.

I lost all my components,
and it makes no difference whether it was bought in the game (F7C MK2 nose turret and weapon equipment) or looted like the F7A turret.
It also made no difference whether I removed the components or left them in the ship.
I still have the wrongly purchased F7 MK1 nose turret though...
All gone... just like every damn patch...

The Official Wipe:

Everyone who ground out standard ships with fancy component rewards now just has... the standard ship:

Lame sauce. The whole grind was for the grade A components. So this was intended then?

The New Polaris Mission is a Slideshow:

Yes outside of the event turning into a slide show, it’s rad as hell!

Bounty Missions are back!

Player Bounties are back however the list we are all seeing is over 200 players because it is shared across all shards!

this didnt even work properly on the PTU, you could have seen bounties for people who are offline, or see 10 bounties for the same person. They rolled out knowing there was a lot of bugs this patch.

The biggest thing: Everyone seems to have a hidden Crime Stat (and therefore a Bounty Mission on them) that's blocking missions. This is the biggest thing people have been complaining about.

Cargo grids have somehow migrated further:

And probably a ton more dysfunction that will become apparent ;)
