Buy more ships pretty please!

-Our game (tech demo) is still in a terrible state in year 11, especially since 3.18

-PES is not beyond [behind] us

-Star Citizen is still missing basics, professions and basic mechanics

-no physics, no mass simulation, no inertia

-in year 11 worse driving physics than the very first Mario Kart arcade game

-still no final flight model or ship combat

-1 out of 100 star systems in year 11 CIG is very good at promising and not delivering or delivering only many years later. See for example:

-4.0 with several new star systems coming at the beginning of 2018, Chris' 2016 Citizencon talk

-Theaters of War in the hands of the backers first half 2020, Sean Tracy February 2020

-hex code colors video first published 2016

-fauna video first published 2017

-customizable HUDs video first published 2013

-atmospheric room system video first published 2016

-modularity video first published 2015

-environmental damage video first published 2016

-SQ42 first release date was 2014

-new driving physics published 2021

-6 million dollars stretch goal: 100 star systems

-tracing every bullet, check what it hits inside a ship and if the thing the bullet hits is damaged, destroyed or start to burn, Chris 2020 on spectrum

-I could go on and on

I am very willing to buy more ships, to give Chris more money, but I need to see some progress. Progress like several new star systems (promised to arrive beginning of 2018) and dynamic server meshing, less time-sinks instead of more (we will get more time-sinks)

Classically games focus on 'Class A crashing bugs', but CIG have found players can work around those. So they focus on the most popular community reports, which major on gameplay and enjoyment.

"What we found... is the players... can live with a lot of those stability issues... crashes. But if your ship is not fun, not performing right [players] are going to upvote the hell out of those, so we are actually fixing the bugs the players care about"
- Carl Jones, COO of Cloud Imperium Games - May 2023

Don´t worry guys, CIG is fixing the bugs the players (not CIG) really care about: Ships. The fact ships are sold for money doesn’t mean CIG cares for these of course. Those delays, stability and class A crashing bugs you post about in Spectrum will be addressed later.
