Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

I would like to do so but my SSD storage is limited and there is no room for a buggy tech demo. So sry 😔 But as soon SC hits the Beta milestone we could do this okay? I mean provided that we are both alive at this time okay?

my apologies.

figured someone in the star citizen sub forum would be able to back up their smack talk.

cheers!

i mean, look at these frames, dont drop below, what, 40?

asp, what were you doing? 20 v 20 wing fights?

and sorry @Mole HD for blowing up your name sake, Arcondes was unable to show up. understandably

Re frames, it would seem that even CIG own benchmark tracker shows a clear degradation over time with patches. As of the last month we are looking at around 25 and 40 FPS for minimum and recommended specs respectively... (and that is CIG´s own tracker, which is of course totally accurate and not biased unlike the Citizen counter).

oh, for sure, frames have gone down. i am experiencing that myself.

and loading times are getting insane.

im questioning someone who claims near super computer specs (i've got 128GBs of RAM)

getting 15fps.

i might hit that low for a moment, but that is not my normal experience and i only have a 2080ti and 32GB of ram

fully crewed reclaimer locking down grim hex for a bit.

fought them solo and ran out of ammo.

if you got friends that thing is affective. those big guns hurt!

I liked how missiles being bugged added to the excitement ;)

look at all those abandoned ships taking my frames down, to what, 50?

Are you talking about the Reclaimer here? Because it didn’t seem to do any reclaiming.

(It did provide some gameplay that you can get in other games for about £5 these days, but that is all cool and good ;))

CDPR just released the final official minimum and recommended PC specs to run CP2077...basically, it'll run on a 4 slice toaster with a monitor. It kinda makes a complete joke of Star Citizen with it's 8, 9 or 10 years in development (answers on a postcard, please) and it's peristently increasing hard and software resource sucking requirements. CDPR have stated that although CP2077 will run quite happily from an HDD, they recommend an SSD... ;)

Well that's a bit of good news for me since my cpu is very long in the tooth now, I should be fine for that.
