1:30 etc etc
Man, I hope the AspX has more inside than that ... more like Sidewinder size inside...
The Nomad is significantly smaller than the Asp. I'm not even sure its as big as the Cobra.

That explains everything! Have you seen that empty space on Nomad's back? Fer-de-Lance engines had to be there, but they just don't fit!The Nomad is significantly smaller than the Asp. I'm not even sure its as big as the Cobra.
Are they going to come over?
Been meaning to ask this coz on every one of your vids I seen the target seems to be incapable of getting away or even out of target sights most of the time? Are they just not very experienced yet or is the balance wrong? However it is really easy for the bounty to run away if they are in a ship and don't want to fight.
My guess is its a drive to get as many people into the game before Odyssey and at point of release of Odyssey. Its a pretty good campaign I think, how successful it will be I have no idea, but from a marketing POV for those new or old FPS players who long ago dismissed ED as not for them, getting it back onto their radar and others.DigThat32 videos are really cool but I do not think his 20K subscribers in Youtube (as impressive as that is) is going to make a dent in space sim gamer trends.
My guess is that most SC backers interested in Elite have alread a copy by now (and viceversa). I think Epic´s free offer is going to probably make more of an impact in bringing some new gamers that have not yet tried either SC/ED, or Elite players interested in an extra account.
I havent given SC one cent and I still post. SC makes people obsessive on every side, its hypnotic.I was not saying I can't be classified in the 'obsessive' population...
They used the FDL engines on the previous new release, the Python with Eagle wings one. That explains everything! Have you seen that empty space on Nomad's back? Fer-de-Lance engines had to be there, but they just don't fit!
Just for info, the Nomad is the first ship to have an open cargo in SC. The cargo platform is directly accessible, no barrier to prevent anyone to go on it. On planets the cargo platform, when up, is too high to get in directly, so relatively secure. But in space or on pad's station, it's free access.
I think it will stay as it is.They gonna have to do something about this long term arent they? Its too easy to get into the ship before the owner can lock it down it seems. Even with a locked internal door or cockpit its still a pita if theres somebody in your ship every time trying to cause trouble.
I find this utterly stupid idea. On many levels.Just for info, the Nomad is the first ship to have an open cargo in SC.
The point 2 will be a good incentive to the owner of a Nomad to rapidly get a better cargo ship.
Players will police the world and ifyeah but they wont stay long. Theyll understand the free game on Epic bit but get too confused when they realise they get given a ship at the beginning and can just play the game from there.
They should be used to the Cosmetics purchases but will give up coz the store is obviously broken as not offering ships for cash or even UAe. It will just baffle them so theyll leave.

It cant always rely on other players being there. NPC Security maybe?
Respect my authoritah!Players will police the world and ifIthey see something nasty there will be punishment.
As stupid as those ?I find this utterly stupid idea. On many levels.
All starter ships in SC are made to be replaced by better ones as soon as possible. It's like the Radiant Pillar in NMS.So the main point of the ship is to stop flying it as soon as possible. Genius!

Are these 6DOF interstellar ships? As stupid as those ?

For me, I prefer specialized ships to multi-usage ones.Ah, i see, encourage people to grind!
They should have gone the ED route, make most ships usable for a vareity of situations.
But how could they encourage people to buy bigger ships if that was the case?
Though in SC one can take shortcut by shoveling money in. Of course getting that money is kind of grind, but return rates vary greatlyFor me, I prefer specialized ships to multi-usage ones.
Grinding is part of all MMO. Grinding for ships in SC or grinding for engineering in ED, it's not easy to avoid it in long term games.
