Why? CIG have said they've been adding Pyro since around 2016. Are you saying CIG are wrong to try and add it? Why final release? That could be decades away! You're suggesting CIG wait decades more? You've got to be trolling.
Again, i never gave CIG any money. I never drank the kool aid.
Bad analogy. Its more like someone saying they could build you the best car in the world, and do it for a thousand dollars. And then keeps coming back for more and more. Yes, you'd be an idiot to believe them. but it appears there are hundreds of thousands of idiots who backed SC as well. But even so, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on in court if they tried to pull that. But somehow, CIG remain untouchable, because apparently crowdfunding allows you to lie to your backers for years and face no consequences. In fact, some of those backers will continue to defend you even after years of lies.

I debated a bit if I should just put part of a day, but as with most of my posts, I give SC the benefit of the doubt. Plus, it's possible there'll be tonnes of ganking at the jump points, barring explorers from ever enjoying exploring. CIG would love that, as they could boast it took more than a day to explore all systems. Gankers will love that too.

Literally just because it's a scam, and that any more money given towards it ensures they wont ever stop not releasing stuff. There are probably other games out there that are scammy too, but this one sorta stands out as the brazen leader of scams. (scam, meaning they wont be able to put the stuff they say they can in.)
Lets say there's 110 systems. Does that mean 1 player in every 2 systems? Or is it 1 server per system, sorta deal? I seem to recall from 7 years ago or so, they were saying everything would be linked to everything else.
I bet if anyone bought a car, and they had a promised date, then they were told it was unavailable, due to whatever, chip shortages, cargo vessel tipped, whatever, you'd be ok with them being salty. No difference here. Everyone bought what they said, and some folks are honestly a bit ticked they haven't delivered anything close to what was promised, but also probably a bit upset at themselves for yet again believing some crappy sales pitch. It is funny seeing someone say they laugh at that, though. Get real.
A lot of folks, even outside the ED community, expected SC to be released by now, and that we'd be playing it. I said something similar 50 or so pages ago, but there was a time when it was to be just a matter of time before folks would be heading over to SC and ED would probably wind-down as it comes up to 10 years. But all of a sudden, ED got legs. And now it's apparent all those commanders who complained, saying they wanted ED to be a ship-only game, who probably some of the same who either went to SC or those who keep saying they want ship interiors(which means being able to walk around). Essentially showing they dont want ED to be ship-only at all which means FDev doesn't have to listen to that bunk anymore. It's clear now everyone wants that level of detail SC has, to walk around, EVA, etc., Instead of staying the ship-only, mid-detailed galaxy simulator it was before, it seems FDev is sticking around and upping their game. So, it's not happening as expected, with SC slowly but surely becoming that BDSSE it boasted to be. Its FDev giving SC a run for its money.
