I’m going to climb over that anger wall of yours someday and it’s going to be glorious.
FYI it’s bicycle pumpDefinitely deserved the George gif!

I think it's Fluffy, actually.Why you lying that's clearly a dog.
that is like being stuck in a bad marriage hoping it will get better whilst the other has already shown, that there is no interest into further dealing with the issue - it is what it is and isn't likely to get significantly better - the best option you have is to part ways - then you will be able to be happy again - not being involved anymore is a relief - you can still mourn about it, but you are out and gone and it cannot harm you anymore. ED will never get significantly better, mark my words. NEVER.i dont feel like giving up on the game even though the developers are bad. it's not the game's fault or the players that it's in the state it's in. Always a chance it can get better, be sold, or released to the community.
Destroyer of sadness?no, this is fluffy

That's a very fair point. Would just need to make sure the covers are wipe-clean I guess, but thereafter it's game-on!Yeah, but imagine a sofa with air horns on it - it'd scare the crap out of the relatives nobody likes at Christmas!
Guilty as charged.You rotten stinkpipe!
I doubt anything else Father Jack says will get past the filter intact. SO. Let's have a bash:DRINK!!!
it is not really the expansion which is crashing the game - but the lack of any hope for the future of the game - this is the real issue, which was brought to light by this expansion - no future VR support of new features, no ship interiors - stuff where the game was said to be designed with those in mind - so they are kernel features, and now dropped, like the whole game is basically dropped - this is what lets people leave and look for new horizons - just not inside ED.The failure of EDO is pretty remarkable. First time I've ever seen an expansion crater a game's playerbase.

I saw that with Star Trek online Delta rising expansion. The stuff was bad, not in the "buggy" bad like EDO, but in the "we don't have any content to show so we make it grindy to make it feel like there is a lot to do".The failure of EDO is pretty remarkable. The above summation is one of the reasons why I am slowly drifting away from gaming. I'll never give it up completely, but I find it harder and harder to invest in games that are just one greedy dev's decision away from ruination. I really wish I could get into board games. At least with board games, once you purchased it, it is safely yours, free from an obligation to install the latest upgrade that some incompetent dev/publisher is trying to push on you to wring a few extra bucks out of your wallet, the long-term health of the game be damned. These days, especially with these always online, games-as-a-service titles, we are just one update/dlc from having one of our favorite pastimes ruined by incompetence and/or greed. Why should I even open my wallet anymore?I saw that with Star Trek online Delta rising expansion. Big drama, forum get a 15m between post rule, the Lead designer of the time post on Reddit (quoting) the people who complain are "entitled brats", which put oil on the fire. The CM comes and say (quoting) "the expansion is a success, and the player love it", spreading Baghdad Bob memes all over the place.

Board games get updates every once in a while as well. Large expensive ones can get updates (usually QoL and usually make things better. Expansions come out for many popular board games too. That being said they are typically balanced properly and worth the money. The only physical "board" games that can really be broken are Miniature games, again its due to requiring constant additions to the game to keep the competitive scenes alive. The above summation is one of the reasons why I am slowly drifting away from gaming. Yet I do, like the sucker I am....
(But I didn't for Odyssey because I could see the trainwreck coming up the tracks )
