State of the Game

I like olives, especially filled with chili paste, a bit of goat cheese and a glass of wine...
Would that be a nice Chianti.... Clarice?

Where is the mod?.
Put it this way - When I came out of the cinema after watching the prequels, it was with a sense of disappointment. I wasn't looking forward to the next film in the trilogy, I was hoping it would suck less. Coming out of the Force Awakens, I was excited and looking forward to what came next.

I'd 100% watch the sequels before the prequels.

I actually enjoyed the sequels, but they are not without their problems, "The Force Awakens" is a good film, the other two are still better than the prequels, but not up to the originals. Of the Mouse House Star Wars films, I'd go with:

Best
Rogue One
The Force Awakens
Rise of Skywalker
The Last Jedi
Solo
Worst
The Force Awakens second best?

Its horrific. In fact all of the Disney Trilogy are so bad it made me just cry with pain as my fav franchise was just drop kicked into the bin.

Originals
R1
Mandarloian
Solo

Prequels

The force awakens is the one where they slowly stalk the rebels, to kill the ship one by one, so they can find help ? In the most perfect Austin Powers way ?
Right ? Or is it another, they tend to blend together.

I agree, it wouldn't even be a good star trek movie. And you've probably seen a few of them. And yes, I'm counting JJ abrams "lensflare" star trek to.
Put another way, I won't voluntarily watch the prequels, but I will watch the sequels.

In other news, the unofficial 'De-specialised Editions' of the original films are amazing.

No that was the Last Jedi... the film that had everyone talking about who was the last Jedi, even though Luke said that line in the film... duh!

Reboot-nature aside (that's on par with prequels in my uninspired-franchise-milking scale), I sort of enjoyed the lens flare Treks in a brain-dead popcorn fashion. Thought the, errr, possibly last one was even pretty decent action sci-fi. That's the one with some black and white lady and a giant space-city-in-a-bottle thingie. Unless I mix up stuff.

The Force Awakens is the bigger Death Star
The Last Jedi is the slow chase
The Rise of Skywalker is the one with Lando
Gotcha. I'd say force awakens was the less worse.
In fact, they went increasingly worse IMO. The rise of skywalker feel like a bad fan fiction after a solid night of drinking. I'm not sure the authors had a clue, they just acted like they knew where it was going.

It was alright, it showed a lot of potential for the sequels that was wasted.

It’s a little like the original Star Wars it’s a great film because it’s the prequel to Empire. Would we really still be rewatching it if it was a stand alone film, I doubt it.
For me, yes, A New Hope is a masterpiece of a film. At least, the theatrical release before George decided to insert all sorts of crud.
