Maybe we shouldn't troll other people in this thread ? That'd be nice you know.

It would be even better not to troll people in their back, but that's probably too much to ask, so I won't.

unfortunately, most platforms haven't caught up to steam in what it allows and doesn't allow in terms of misrepresentative advertising. A thing that fdev skirted by having a special even more unusable quality setting that only exists in the dlc (so it can't be compared with in the existing apples to apples) and only really is usable for screenshots or very slow videos you'll speed up after to make up for the framerate drop.

Plus unlike food prep where every min wage worker mass producing sandwiches is goin to build it differently... where yea you can find lots of examples of sandwiches that are made horribly but also some half decent...though obviously none approach the pre-rendered commerical.... that's not how computer graphics work. And not really what's happening here.

fdev orchestrated a campaign to acquire a bunch of sales before the end of their financial year. They misled and lied to players to do that, not just in marketing materials, but in the feedback during the "alpha" release.
