each to it's own, I guess - I like entrepreneurial stuff, and when I can create bases and farms and ranches on planets (I guess the limit is something like 400 bases - imagine that, 400 bases on up to 400 planets) and do my own thing, and there is something to actually play with, then I'm happy - I need no story or content streamed to me. I like as well exploring planets, planets with actually stuff on it beside rocks - you know, fauna and flora, eventually some alien installations and caves to explore - I like as well to do some terraforming and finding that last missing creature on my list - most of the time those are either subterranean or flying creatures, which are rare.
but to make this interesting those planets have to be different anytime, somewhat familiar, but still different and unique - anytime when I approach a planet, there is this wonder, what will I find there, how does the landscape look like, are their predators and what kind of meat can I harvest from them? - what is the flora like and are there eventually special minerals with a high content in what I'm looking for - and there are sometime amazing finds to make, with fauna, flora and minerals with high contents in what I'm looking for.
This is exploration to me - not landing on empty rocks like in Elite where it takes me ages to find a few bits and piece here and there.
