Ship Builds & Load Outs Federal Corvette Test driving different Corvette PvE hardpoint builds

Hull Reinforcements do make sense in a vette when you take on multiple wing Assassinate Pirate Lord Mission combined with stacked pirate massacre missions for collecting grade 5 materials. With 1600 hull you can do only 3 or 4 Pirate Lords without repair.

Tried it also with Prismatics, but found out for me, that Bi-Weaves work better.

If my Corvette isn't versatile, it doesn't mean it's bad, just saying. It's called "Specialized".

I don't collect mats normally. I just take 20 massacre pirates missions, go to one system, take 1-2 hours and make 300 mil + dozens of biotech conductors and exquisite crystals which i later exchange for whatever i need at mat trader. Give it a try - Tago, Tachmetae and 37 Librae all give missions to kill pirates in Na Chem. HazRes is waste of time, you can make 5x more money doing massacre missions in same amount of time, not to mention all G5 mats you get as rewards too.

I do use fighter bay normally, but forgot to include it in the build i posted.

Prismatics are good for PvE if you know how to reboot your ship. Even in CZ you can easily take a 30 sec break and reboot ship, instantly gaining 50% of your shield back - that's about 3k shield for prismatic Corvette. About same amount as your bi-weave 100% :)

So yeah, don't just assume i'm new to this sheet, lol.
I do my Pirate missions stacked IN Haz, lol, so nop, HazRes are NOT a waste of time. And my opinion is NO to prismatics, is a overshot for the Vette, who DO NOT need so much on shields - like you alone admitted, 3-4 k are more than enough for the Vette - then why to "suffer" under immense power hungry Prismatic, who take centuries to recharge ?!
Also, why is the reason to load (useless) hull/module protection in the PvE Vette ?! You never loose shields in a Vette vs NPC s ! That is, if no silly mistakes occur.

Another argument against Prismatic’s in your build is the power. You have a Power deficit in your build, when I have power excess in mine :p And that make things even more complicated for your build if you load a wanted scanner or/and a fighter hangar.

I do not take the Vette in wing assassinations missions - for that I use a FdL, who can strike and run before things got ugly :p
And yes, a bi-wave Fdl :p ! I got on her 2,6 k shields, more than enough to survive several minutes until I get the kill.

Take massacre missions and you will see. Some of them include flying to specific signal source with 10-12 pirates inside who instantly aggro on you.

I can install kws and fighter bay just fine, use power priorities to make sure everything work right.

Main reason i use such thick shield and armor is because my outfitting station is Jameson memorial in Shinrarta, and you know the drill - every 2nd time some cheeky commander will be interdicting you to try to blast your .

I don't have a power deficit, the trick is to disable the Shield Cell Bank you don't use and switch when you need to, the only drawback of my fit is the single Thermal Vent Beam Laser which can cause the ship to overheat if you fire Plasma Accelerators and Seeker Missiles before it has a lock on target, usualy most of the damage I take come from this.

Knowing when to disengage is also important because I lost it a couple of time waiting too long and taking too much damage to jump, once the shields are down you're toast anyway.

The reason behind my fit is high DPS, I want to get the kill as fast as possible, trading HP is never a good idea especially with a slower ship.
